really great food: short menu of simple, but tasty french cuisine for very cheap price! excellent french wine - nice selection also for quite reasonable price (at least for Prague the prices were alright, usually its overpriced). And also the service is more french than czech! which means they are friendly and care about customers... i´ll definitely go there again!

Our daughter has moved to Prague and works close to Andel Metro station so we decided to meet her for lunch one day and try this restaurant out. Like a lot of restaurants in the business districts, this French restaurant offered a reasonably priced “lunch time” menu – around 120 CZK per course (about £4). Typical of a lot of restaurants in the Czech republic, there is not too much differentiation in cost (or size) between starter and main dishes so there is a reasonable selection on the menu to choose from. I had the Duck confit served with crushed potatoes (beautifully flavoured with spring onions and butter) and vegetables. The duck was succulent, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection (and a reasonably generous portion). My daughter had the salmon tartare which again was beautifully prepared and perfectly seasoned, and my wife had the house salad – again fresh, well seasoned and full of flavour. Add to this a comprehensive wine list, excellent service (if a little slow, but that is fairly normal in the Czech Republic) and reasonable prices this is a restaurant I would highly recommend making a special trip to find. Literally 5 mins walk from Andel station (yellow line) and easy to get to from the city centre. Enjoy…

Excellent place, with good wine and decent food for an excellent price. I celebrated my birthday there (almost 40 guests) and it was really nice.

Ate dinner at one had desert at the other, pricing and food quality are excellent at both, the service is totally first rate, reserved, refined and not stuffy. The vintage charm and decorating are second to none. Try both.

Ate there on two nights of our three-night stay in Prague, absolutely wonderful. A bit off the beaten track but still walking distance from the city centre. Staff fantastic, other diners were all local which is always a good sign. Value for money can't be beaten.
