Very hard to spot even if you're looking for it but was a cool statue, especially on a lovely day with a bright blue sky behind it. Definitely worth looking out for if in the area.

The sculptor David Cerny has a number of whimsical, bold sculptures all over Prague. Interestingly, there is no brochure to guide you. You need to find them on the Internet and then track them down, which was a fun thing to do since they can be in out-of-the-way or hidden locations. Also, most of the time people are walking right by them, not knowing one of his sculptures is right in front of them. This sculpture can be seen at the intersection between Husova and Skorepka streets, but you have to look up. It's interesting to be looking up at it as most tourists just walk by not knowing what is right under them. According to one website, during his life Freud suffered from a number of phobias, including the fear of his own death. Cerny chose to depict the psychoanalyst in his constant struggle with this trepidation.

Hanging Freid is one of the unusual sculptures around Prague. It was fun to find it wondering around. If you wish to see more hanging people, come to Mosaic house: there are two of them “flying” with umbrellas.

We had as much fun finding SGSF as viewing it. We finally got to where we reckoned it should be but couldn't see it-mostly because we were absolutely directly under it! It's a person dangling in the air a long way up but go see it if you are nearby and can find it. We found a nice little market and an interesting part of town as we looked for it.

We came across it accidentally, fairly close to the Kafta statue and near a lovely little square.

Keep your eyes to the sky as you may miss it!
