“Fantastic view, 2 balconies and a pretty decent location!”
Reviewed 6 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We spent last weekend in this appartment. We actually booked a Studio appartment in Old Town but due to various mishaps we were upgraded to this Penthouse apartment in New Town (for the same price). Location is not as central as Old Town, but it is very close to Wenceslas Square (with lots of shops and restaurants). The view also more than made up for any any extra walking that we had to do. Almost did not want to leave the appartment :)
People at Prague-stay are quite professional and appear to have a vast variety of different appartments for lease. They also organize airport pickup, groceries stocked in the fridge upon arrival and even breakfast service... so almost like a hotel but without the need to put a "do not disturb" sign on the door for some privacy ;o)
Only problem was that on the Saturday morning a man actually started drilling a hole in the wall of the appartment while we were still sleeping. And when I say drilling, I mean industrial sized sement cutting. There was a 1,5 sq meter hole in the wall when we finally fled the appartment. Would have appreciated some warning beforehand from management. Still have not gotten the final bill for groceries so I am reserving final judgement, but during our stay we were quite pleased ...for the most part :)
Two final things: 1) This appartment is NOT weelchair accessible as you need to climb a flight of narrow stairs from the 5th to the 6th floor. So if you have problems carrying yourself or your bags up stairs I would rather book another appartment. For others its no big deal. 2) There is a 24hr reception, but nobody we met there spoke even the slightest bit of English, just keep that in mind.

Dear client,

Thank you very much for the 5-star review! We really appreciate you taking the time to write your feedback – which is extremely valuable – to us and are delighted that you enjoyed your time in Prague as well as the apartment.
We are sorry about the morning drilling; we understand that it must have been a nuisance for you, especially on a Saturday morning. It was a matter of maintenance of the whole building which we, unfortunately, had only limited control of.
When it comes to the building reception staff, we are aware that they do not speak English, and therefore our clients can, if it should be needed, call the Prague-Stay agents directly from the reception 24 hours a day. All the Prague-Stay accommodation agents speak fluent English and are ready to interpret or directly sort out any problems that could appear.
Finally, thank you again for your review and we hope to see you back in Prague some time soon!

Kind regards,
