The food is very decent but there is a small selection of draft beer. Otherwise this place provides a great experience. The show at 19:00 is very entertaining, and add a lot to the whole atmosphere . In order to see the show you should reserve a table and pay for a "ticket" around 180ck, but it definitely worth it and recommended. And don't be late, the show starts at 19:00 sharp, you might miss something interesting.

What a place! Fantastic atmosphere. Real tavern with great medieval decor. Food was great. Great prices. Beer which was home made was heaven and great value. We didn't go to show but it looked great. Fantastic place.

Just returned from a great short break in the Prague with friends. Found this place on the internet and booked on the phone from England....... the staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful.

The inside is a labyrinth of dungeon style cellar rooms lit almost totally by candles and decorated with tools of torture and human skulls cover the walls and ceilings(they aren't real). The tables and fur covered seats are very much in keeping with the whole style.

The show was fantastic and the entire evening was enhanced by the fact that the entertainers were only a matter of feet away......a sword fight and fire eater so close simply adds to the whole experience (thank god the Health and Safety fanatics haven't spread everywhere). The shows, which were broken down into smaller segments as the entertainers moved from dungeon to dungeon to perform for other customers, just kept coming and were well managed so you could still enjoy the food and have conversations as well.

The food was of a good standard and the waiter made sure our beer and wine glasses were always full..............if you ever needed anything the expectation was to bellow his name like a medieval lord and he came running. Our waiter was Dominic could not do enough to make sure we were well tended to.

The show starts at 1900 and lasted about 2 and a half hours.......get there at least 15 minutes early to make sure you seated in time and you really should book to make sure you get a table.

Now for the price............there were 4 of us and we all enjoy a good tipple. Including the entrance fee which was about £6 per person, we had plenty of beer and wine and 2 courses...................about £90 in total..........GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!!

A fantastic place to spend an evening.
