“Equity Point in Prague is smart choice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

Equity Point Prague is a decent hostel, location is really convenient - we were sightseeing Prague on foot and main atractions were located in very short distance from the hostel. Its building is new (renovated in 2013), rooms are very tidy (cleaned every day) and comfortable.

Staff was great - I have never met so flexible and helpful people in hostels and I travel a lot! What's more, if you want to rest there is a chillout zone and mini pub - so if you were tired and wanted to rest you can enjoy great company of bartender (wonderful French lady) and other guests from all around the world. It's a great place to meet new friend from all around the world!

What bothered me couple of times - there is no WiFi in the rooms (4th floor), but it's downstairs so it's fair enough. I almost forgot - breakfast are included in the price and it's even tasty - bread with honey, jam or melted cheese.. and of course cereals. I clearly recommend you Equity Point.

The location of Equity Point Hostel Prague is perfect for pretty much anything you have planned in the city. It is located about 5 mins walk from Charles Bridge.
Staff is very very friendly and seem to love their jobs. The rooms are basic and could do with a table or a mirror in the room. We had difficulties finding places where to put our stuff.
The Wifi was pretty much never working. There is no signal in the rooms in general but even at reception, in the lobby or the kitchen it was usually not working.
Breakfast is very basic, but enough to get you started for the day.
I would stay here again.

I only checked in at 6am and out at 9am but the hostel was warming, clean, fresh, good bathroom, spacious rooms, great location... If I was to return I would stay here for sure. It was very informative and had. Great breakfast for a hostel! Which everyone loves

It is located in a great place, with lots of cool restaurants and pubs just around the corner.
The staff was great and gave us great recommendations of places to eat and go out.
The rooms were always clean and the breakfast was surprisingly good.
And of course lets not forget the great prices. I had an amazing time.
The only bad thing was the wifi. There was none in the rooms and in the common room it just didn't work once there were too many people there trying to log on.

Good location, very near to the Charles bridge, Wenceslas square and the Old town square. Hostel is clean, comfortable, warm, has a wi-fi and two computers. It has kitchen so you can use it for making your meal or coffee. Staff so friendly, kind and helpful. The best part is chill out zone with pillows and space for rest. I recommend this hostel with no doubts, especially if you`re young.

The hostel is centrally located, about 10 minutes walk to the Old Town and 5 minutes from Wenceslas Square. There is also a big Tesco nearby which is good for stocking up on food and drink.

I stayed in a 6 person dorm room which was clean and of a decent size. This was the same for the shower room too. The bunk beds were comfy to sleep in but quite noisy to get in and out of so we often woke up when someone was getting in or out but that's to be expected and it didn't detract from the stay.

Breakfast is very basic - juice, tea and coffee and a couple of cereals and toast. There are kitchen facilities but I didn't use these during my stay as there were plenty of affordable places to eat within walking distance serving local and international food.

There is plenty of communal seating, and an additional comfy area downstairs with a couple of bean bags and additional tables. Staff were friendly and always check that people entering the hostel are guests. Wifi is available in communal areas along with a couple of computers.

Overall this hostel provides everything expected and I would recommend it for those looking for a hostel in Prague.
