“Excellent Breakfast!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

At breakfast the food was very , very good! Varied , plentiful and fresh. You help yourself and can eat as much as you like. Lunch was ok but portion was on the small side.

“Red tuna tatar is the best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2014

Try the red tuna tatar with asparagus, the Unic salad with goat cheese or the stuffed chicken (stuffed with ham), which all of these are great. The house red wine is average, and the waiter is a little bit slow with the coctails.
If you stay in the hotel above, leave yourself time for a long breakfast too.

“Value for money meals”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 December 2013

The cafe is well situated within Hotel Unic, Prague. The cafe is very spacious and the placement of food station is well designed. Best use of space and not like any typical breakfast station where everybody will be overcrowding one another. Thumbs up for the designer of the layout! There's also an outdoor seating for those who smokes.

The cafe serves the best and most generous breakfast, wide spread with lots of different type of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, juices. The staff are very attentive and they clear the plates once you are finished, so your table don't look over crowded. The staff is also attentive to refill the dishes once it runs low, so there's always a constant supply and you won't miss out any dishes or have to wait for them.

We had dinners the last two nights. We tried the Christmas and their classic menu. We chose the French cuisine and one of the chef was a 2001 Michelin Chef. Again they are so generous with their portion, I had monkfish and it's beautifully done. My family had the duck confit and beef. The onion soup is most delicious. All in all it didn't cost us a lot of money, food is good, service is fantastic. Staff is always cheerful and nice and friendly.

I highly recommend this beautiful GEM.

“Small but perfectly formed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

Food is delicious and staff helpful. French menu; very 'French' portions with no sides. Which is fine but you are paying a lot for compared to other restaurants in Prague. I ate as a hotel guest and it was obvious there were no locals eating. Good for single travellers wanting to have a peaceful evening catching up on the laptop.

“Great decor, great food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2013

After 7 years in Prague, we have had enough bad restaurant experiences, and sometimes we are afraid to try new places. Luckily today we decided to take a chance and visited this lovely new cafe.

It opened a few months ago, and apparently has not been very busy. I think the main challenge is that passer by traffic would not enter quickly, as the hotel lobby has an "old style hotel reception" which gives it that "hotel-restaurant" perception.

The cafe decor is refreshing, bright with great furniture. The menu selection large, with options for everyone. Food quality is amazing.

Would recommend the profiteroles and the creme brûlée.... De-Li-Cious.
