Found this bar one afternoon and had very good drinks, so went back for a late lunch on our last day in Prague. It was lovely, the waiter was excellent, offered us tap water and didn't try to sell us expensive bottled water, the food was superb, don't be put off by the outside of the building go in you won't be disappointed.

I spent some time in Cafe V on several occasions during my recent stay in Prague. I was staying in the hotel the cafe is attached to, and I have to say it's well above average for a hotel bar. The bartender is beautifully dressed, polite, and courteous, the drinks are very reasonably priced for a hotel bar (generous cocktails for less than 4 euros), and the desserts are delicious! On two evenings, we went out for dinner, skipped dessert, and had it in Cafe V when we got back to the hotel instead. I had the cheesecake and my boyfriend had the chocolate cake, and both were extremely nice. There was a guy playing acoustic guitar in there on the Friday evening, and they also do a mean hot chocolate.

Three meat skewers followed by cheesecake - yum! We went here a couple of times for lunch as the price was reasonable and the food and service was great! Would definitely recommend it!

This place was near where we stayed so we popped in one day. It was part of a 4-star hotel but the lunch menu was perfectly reasonably priced as part of an offer so we decided to try it out. The surroundings were very nice with tasteful decoration and the service was prompt. We tried the medallions of pork on skewers and were totally blown away it was amazing, the beer was good and the cheesecake came with sorbet and was delicious! As G&Ts were on offer 2 for 1 we thought why not and had one of them too. The whole meal and experience was really good, totallly recomend it for lunch (might be too pricey for evening), we made the effort to come back a couple of days later and had the exact same meal right down to the G&Ts! There was plenty of good food in prague but this was our favourite.
