This is a very traditional Czech pub - and I love it. It's round the corner from the Hotel Barcelo Five, so good place to go if you are staying there. It's definitely for the locals and not for tourists, and the prices reflect this - average 32 Czech crowns (less than 1 GBP) for a variety of beers, including unfiltered Gambrinus and Pilsener Urquell. Food is very traditional Czech with main courses from under 100 crowns - so really good value. They do have a menu in English, though all the times I was there (several!) I didn't spot any tourists. There are 2 rooms - one smoking and one non-smoking so you can choose - the smoking room is very smoky! Staff are friendly and efficient. So overall summary: great value and an insight into how the locals socialise.
