Spent 3 nights at the Pension Bonaparte 15/08 to 17/08. The room is fairly small but comfortable and clean, we were not expecting a fantastic room due to the price we had paid. There is a TV and well stocked mini bar which is unbelievably cheap. 30 koruna for a large bottle of beer :). Bathroom has a large shower area and powerful shower which is very good. We did not have much interaction with the staff but from what we did they were friendly enough. We did feel quite bad ringing the door bell in the early hours each night to let us in :0) .
Breakfast was continental style and is okay, we were hoping for a cooked breakfast but admittedly we only managed to get up for breakfast once.
We found that the best way to get to the centre was by tube which was a couple of minutes walk away. The tube station is called Andel and you need to make your way to Mustuk station (2 stops 10 mins)which is very close to the main square. The ticket system is primitive and hard to work out initially as nobody appears to buy a ticket but we worked out that the ticket machine offers tickets dependant on time i.e. 90mins was 12k i think. There are no ticket barriers like in London and you basically put your ticket into a machine that date stamps it for you. We did not see anyone who worked at the tube station at any point during our stay.
Be careful if taking a taxi back from the centre as the prices vary alot. Best to get a price before you get in. The tube system works until midnight and then you have the option of trams or taxi's. We rarely left the centre until after 3am so we knew that taxi's were really the only option.
Overall a good hotel.
