“Great hotel for a reasonable price”
Reviewed 23 January 2013

This hotel is a great place to stay for its price. It's clean and conducive with the proper amenities for a good stay. Free breakfast is included with the room, not a full course but pretty decent with toast, ham, eggs, cereals etc. We had to pay for wifi, but its quite cheap and connection is fine. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Location wise, just a 2 minute walk to the tram line and about 15 minuets to the main centre. Tram no.9 is available all the time. You don't have to wait very long. For 30 Euro a night, why not! I would recommend this hotel, definitely.

This hotel has a great feel with really helpful and friendly staff that can help you get anywhere! It's also really convenient to the tram. The rooms are well kept and decent sized, with good bathrooms. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with food running out but overall, really good value for the price and would definitely stay there again!

It was advertised to us as a 4 stars hotel, but it was not clean, as you could see the dirtiness in the duvets itself as well as on their covers, which were also torn. The breakfast was not that abundant, as we have tried in other 3 stars hotels. The bathroom was not very spacious and we could easily hear noises from outside. The room cards didn't always work, you had to try multiple times until a successful door opening. The positive part of it was that you could reach the center in about 20 min from there and the traditional meals were nicely cooked. The service also was very nice.

Room Tip: I didn't see other rooms but 108, which was on the first floor, was not so good.

We have chosen this hotel while we were looking for a cheap possibility for an overnight stay. Since we have checked-in the afternoon, went out and returned at 6am for the breakfast first and then went sleep till the checkout time (we had a late check-out till 1pm free! thanks!), we did not really cared much about which hotel we chose. We have booked this hotel for below 30EUR including breakfast, that a good deal and actually this low price is why I have rated it with 3 stars and not only 1 which I would if we had booked it for a higher price.

Starting at the reception the staff is very friendly but not much professional for a 4 star hotel. The rooms are very basic, with old furniture. Bath was OK, it was very clean. Rather ask for a room, which is not faced to the front, because there is a very busy and noisy street (in the summer I cannot imagine you could open the window during a hot night, as I remember there is no A/C). There is a good Tram and bus connection to the center, but it quite far to a metro station.

Breakfast is again compared to the price OK; there is also a hot buffet. But it’s not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel.

But to be fair for that price you cannot expect too much. Not considering the price I would rather rate it like a 2 star hotel.

Room Tip: Chose a room which is not faced to the street.

We stayed at this hotel for about 5 days and we were very satisfied. That was a great value (4000 czk for 5 nights)! The room is nice and clear, there is even a refrigerator. The only negative thing is the too soft mattress. There is also a great breakfast included in the price.
That's not a hotel with a great view but it is located in a good area of the city. The receptionnist are very helpful.

In front of the hotel you can take a tramway or a bus to go directly in the downtown! Moreover, the hotel is near of the Praha florenc station. There is a little grocery store nearby where you can buy food and bus tickets.

Not only was this hotel one of the cheapest we've stayed at (30€) but it had the feel of a 4 star hotel. Lovely staff, elevator, very modern decor, huge rooms with super comfy beds. Actual double beds as well not two singles together. Tv in the room, nice bathroom with large shower and plenty of hot water. Parking close by if you find a spot or the hotel offers parking for 11€. The Internet isn't free but it isn't very expensive. I don't know how well it works because we didn't use it. Breakfast, which was included in the price (!!) was awesome with plenty of choices of bread, cheese, cold meats, eggs (boiled and fried), yoghurts, cereals etc. it's not in the city centre and we used a car to get there (5 - 10mins) so not too sure about public transport but they seemed to have lots of info. Superb hotel for next to no money. Book now!
