The location of this place is amazing! It's right near all the tourist spots and you can walk to all the places of interest. We had a very late flight booked so had emailed ahead to ask if it was possible to check in after their check in time had closed and they were very accommodating, we also used their taxi service from the airport which was great for the price.
Our room was huge with vintage pieces of furniture which I love, and both the bathroom and bedroom had underfloor heating so it was lovely and warm.
Our room overlooked the street, so you could hear some noise from outside but nothing to trouble us. Annoying things were that the wifi did not reach our room, even though we were only on the first floor but with so many bars around with free wifi, this wasn't the end of the world. The most annoying thing was there was no hook for the shower head in the bathroom so you either had to have a bath or try and shower in the bath, but with no shower curtain it did mean alot of water went everywhere! Quite annoying trying to wash my hair over the side of the bath too. But if you're only staying for a few days, then it's fine to manage with.
The courtyard is lovely and we were lucky enough to have some sunshine to sit out in it, but I can imagine in the summer it would be fabulous.
I wouldn't bother with breakfast here though as it's expensive for what you get and the food isn't really worth it. This was the only let down for the place. There are so many bakeries and cafes around though that you're not spoilt for choice.
Overall, superb value for money, amazing location and comfortable and clean rooms. I will certainly recommend to any friends going to Prague.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the courtyard for less street noise

A wonderful little hotel; right in the centre of Prague. As far as a location goes you cannot find anything better. The rooms are very spacious and have unique futures, in our room 32, for example, the bathroom, was located via 7 steps down in a separate chamber to the utmost delight of my teenage girls. The stuff is friendly and helpful and would go out of their way to make you comfortable. The coffee shop next to the reception provides delicious cakes and I only regret that we didn’t have a chance to sample them all! Yes, the decor is slightly shabby, but beds are comfortable, breakfast delicious and rooms clean. If you fancy something out of the common way, I would strongly recommend this little gem in the centre of Prague! We are already thinking about coming back.

Room Tip: if you are a family of 3, ask for the room 32. Kids love the ideaof a bathroom, which has to be reac...

the hotel has a perfect location, doesn't cost a lot and the receptionists are very helpful. the breakfast is great and the reception hosts a little cafe. for me, the downside was the noisy hardwood floor.

This hotel is in a great location (less than a minute from old town) and the breakfast was pretty good. However, the room left a lot to be desired. Lack of hot water and not very comfortable bed. Staff quite friendly and wi fi good.

What appeared to be an attractive B&B in a great location turned out to be one of the worst places I have ever stayed in.
We booked accommodation through the Prague airport accommodation agent when our flight was cancelled and we had to return to Prague for another night. When we arrived at the booked accommodation we were told it had been overbooked and we were to be 'upgraded' to their sister B&B The Golden Deer. We had paid 130 euros.
The Golden Deer had an attractive courtyard and bar, and the room was spacious.
However...
The bed was a thin foam mattress on slats that creaked with every move. Sheets had tears and were shabby, pillows thin and hard. I had to get up and move to the single bed during the night because it was unbearably uncomfortable.
The street noise was atrocious, screaming and yelling all night. No double glazing.
The bath had no fitting plug, so it was unusable. There was no shower screen or curtain, so attempting to use the hand held shower fitting resulted in water all over the bathroom and toilet. The only chair in the room was a very hard wooden un-cushioned one.
The wifi did not work in bedrooms, we had to go down (through the rain) to the bar and buy drinks. No tea or coffee making facilities, only one key of the old fashioned type, no safe. No lift, luggage had to be carried up several flights of stairs.
The final insult was that they did not understand that we had already paid 130 euros, and asked us to pay the 75 euros fee normally charged. No refund was offered!
This was not the fault of the very courteous and pleasant reception staff, but of the management who need to spend a little time and money updating this place! Don't stay here until it has been upgraded!

I chose this place because of its superb location near the old town square. The price was very reasonable too. However, the room was very run-down. The furniture, toilet equipment, flooring and so on were all very run-down. If you intent to roam around a lot then this place will be fine.

The breakfast was very basic with some bread and fruits. The staff was very friendly.
