I love apartment hotels, so Salvator Apartments was an fantastic choice while I was in Prague. To clarify, the Salvator Apartments are housed on Revolucni just about a ten-minute walk from Hotel Salvator itself. The apartment had a modern finish and was spacious with ample room in the bedroom and eat-in kitchen. No complaints about the bed or shower, wi-fi quality, cleanliness or noise - you even get a washer/dryer machine. The building is close enough to popular parts of Old Town/New Town on foot, but far away enough that you don't feel like you are neck-deep in touristy Prague. I could have stayed here easily for a week just because the apartment felt more like a comfortable second home, and the price was very reasonable. The best part was that they had a free transfer to the airport included with the stay, which saved me both money and hassle as I left town - but you can easily get to the location via subway or even if you are coming in/out of Hlavni Nadrazi station. Lastly, a Paneria location right across the street!

Room Tip: You could request an apartment facing the street in order to get more light

Stayed in the Salvator Superior Apartments in a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment. The apartment was modern & clean with a terrace. Beds were comfortable. Only there was no living room but that doesn't bother me too much.
The location of the apartment is excellent - a short walk to the old town & close to many restaurants & shops.
Staff were friendly too & buffet breakfast on offer at the hotel which is a short walk away was ok for 7 euros.
Would stay here again.

I just wanted to say what a great hotel this is! Sometimes, when you have found the perfect place to stay in a city that you visit regularly you run the risk that they will have a bad day and not meet your expectations. I have re-visited many hotels and restaurants where I have good memories only to find that standards have slipped or new owners have ruined the experience.

The Salvator is not one of those. On my most recent visit I stayed for four days on a business trip mixed with a little sightseeing. I booked direct on the hotels website (normally I book through Booking.com) and I made a mistake, booking an apartment in the nearby Salvator Apartments instead of the hotel. Despite the fact that I arrived at 01.30am and there was only one guy on reception, I was treated as a valued customer and immediately allocated a top floor suite for the same price! I didn't even have to ask, they just assumed that I meant to book in the main hotel and changed things accordingly.

The room was superb (floor 4, room 9) with 2 large bedrooms, bathroom and separate wc. Clean, spacious and extremely comfortable, my stay was simply perfect.

The one thing that keeps impressing me about the Salvator is the standard of the staff. Not only are they cheerful and helpful, they also seem genuinely committed to making your stay as pleasant as they can.

I actually look forward to staying there and, in my job, that is rare.

Room Tip: The higher up the better. There is some noise from the internal courtyard at meal times and so the h...

Beware- this place is not as described.
- room facilities- all photos for the apartments are very, very suggestive of a roof terrace (or access to a roof terrace). Upon arrival we were told that only two rooms in the entire hotel had access to the roof terrace. Our room has no balcony and no roof terrace- which was the main reason I booked it for our first anniversary.
- service- the hotel had known for many months that we were arriving in the night train from Krakow at 0800 (they even sent a driver for us). Yet upon arrival we were told the room wasn't ready, they couldn't find the receptionist for the apartments and simply told to 'take a walk for 5 hours' until it was ready. No effort made to accomodate us.
Pay very close attention before booking this place.

We have just returned from staying at the Salvator Apartments and while there are definite plus points (location, high spec interior, air con etc) we were very disappointed with the vast difference between what we were told we had booked and actually found when we arrived. As 2 couples each with a child under 2 with us, we booked the "Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment with Terrace" which had lots of photos of a large kitchen with a wraparound work surface and breakfast bar, a big living room with sofa, flat TV and space for dining.

With young kids and plans to take turns babysitting for each other, somewhere comfortable to relax and for the kids to play was a MUST. However what we got was NO LIVING ROOM at all. The 2nd bedroom in our apartment seems to have been designed as a living room (flat TV, media display cabinet etc) but had a double bed. All we were left with was a one-surface kitchen with a dining table as the only living area (not shown in the photos), excluding the terrace which wasn't suitable for crawling toddlers.

Another issue with the flat is that the floors were FILTHY. While cleanish to look at, a few minutes of kids crawling showed up very quickly just how long it had been since a proper clean of the floors. We had to ask at reception for the floors to be cleaned properly which resulted in some improvement.

When complaining about the lack of living space promised when booking, reception were adamant that we did indeed have a living room and that we 'had the best apartment'. So clearly there is an apartment here with all that was promised - we just didn't get it despite paying for it.

On the plus sides though, the location of the apartment was great, the interior spec high and brand new, the kitchen well equipped and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Just make sure you get what you book!!!!

Room Tip: Make double sure you get one with a living room/lounge as the photos do not necessarily belong to th...

Salvator has a great location, a 15 minute walk from the train station, 10 minutes walk from lively Staromesto square, about 2 minutes from Republic Square and the giant Palladium shopping mall and metro station. Nevertheless the street is quiet, though there seems to be no parking closeby either. Our 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment on the first (US 2nd) floor was perfect functionally--lots of space and beds for our 5 family members, but with a view of a wall. The room also had windows that opened onto the courtyard of the Salvator, which made up for the non-view... But who comes to Prague to hang out in the room anyway? The hotel staff was nice and the restaurants downstairs convenient and good. The breakfast buffet wasn't as sumptuous as the German buffets we'd left days before, but provided a good start to busy days in Prague...

Room Tip: Tell the staff what your needs are and they will try to be helpful... They were very responsive to...
