Mamaison in Prague is in an excellent location at the foot of the Charles bridge. We traveled as a family of 4 and I can say the staff made every effort to make us comfortable and worked to make our experience in Prague relaxing and fun. We traveled with two teenage boys and the staff went out of their way to find a segway tour when many were already booked. Our room was comfortable with a kitchenette so we could stop at a local bakery or market and plan breakfast, snacks, and even one lunch in the room. When we had trouble with the internet the fixed it immediately. I would highly recommend this hotel which is cozy and well situated.

I was staying in Prague just two nights, and it would be hard to find better location to get as much of Prague during such a short stay: all main attractions are literally one step away from hotel entrance. I love small cozy places to stay, and this is one: charming, warm and elegant. Room was huge which is not often in Europe, nicely decorated and comfortable. Lobby looks more like elegant private residence than hotel, breakfast of excellent choice and great quality perfectly served. Big selection of cheese, local meats, homemade pastries, etc., plus one can order eggs to be cooked. Public areas decorated with fresh flowers and art, staff was very friendly and helpful, lovely feeling: casual and warm. There is charming courtyard where breakfast served during the summer, can imaging how nice it is when weather is good, and there is also casual restaurant to be opened soon. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone who wants to stay in the very heart of Prague without spending little fortune: great value for your money, no doubts!

We stayed in this hotel in September 2010 and really enjoyed its location to all the sights in Prague. We walked everywhere from the Old Town to the Palace area and especially across the Charles Bridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Pachtuv Palace hotel to anyone traveling to the beautiful city of Prague.
We also loved the breakfast buffet although it was not included in the price of the room.

We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 25th anniversary and this hotel was even better than weexpected. Staff could not be more helpful and courteous. Lovely to be greeted on arrival in the lounge and receive a room upgrade. The palace is simply superb and I cannot recommend it highly enough for its decor, spaciousness, proximity to Charles Bridge and the Old Town and splendour. The only negative is the price of breakfast - why so expensive when Prague food is so cheap?

Love the Pachtuv. Our room had an amazing view of the Charles Bridge just across the street, and the Prague Castle above. Everything was perfect, except we felt the breakfast buffet was gigantic ripoff. So we walked around Prague to find early morning breakfast, which is NOT easy to find. My wife and I stay at the finest hotels in the world, and would certainly stay at the Pachtuv Prague again.

We originally booked the Mamaison Riverside on the Mala Strana side of Prague for our honeymoon, and were greatly surprised when we were upgraded to the Pachtuv just near the St.Charles bridge and Old Town (5 min walk). Our room 402 had a lovely view of thebridge and castle. The bright suite was very roomy with separate sitting area that had a mini-kitchenette in an armoire. The bedroom had a comfortable 4 poster bed and the view from either of the two large windows. Very courteous & professional staff who assisted us in booking day trips and suggested restaurants (a good one just next to hotel). Their hotel restaurant was under construction but they still served a buffet breakfast for $25euro/person. We could not have been more happy and highly recommend this hotel. You will not be dissappointed!
