The hotel is charming in ever fascet. The hotel has old world charm, yet has been completely renovated. The servicing staff was helpful with maps, finding a driver, and booking an itinerary. Most of all, the location is right next to the Charles Bridge when made our views spectatular. I highly recommend this hotel.

We chose the hotel because of its superb location near to Charles Bridge and view of Prague Castle. On arrival we were greeted by extremely welcoming staff and shown to our suite with the minimum of fuss. We had booked a junior suite in the old palace part of the hotel, and the walk through 2 courtyards to the room only wetted the appetite. The suite didn't disappoint.,and was complete with a gorgeous four poster bed, a drawing room, kitchenette, and large bathroom.
The staff were very pleasant and were able to book us dinner for christmas eve and tickets for the opera on christmas day. The concierge was very helpful and knowledgable about entertainments on offer.
The mozart breakfast at the weekend, accompanied by a string quartet was a good way to shake off the excesses of the night before
Finally we had a excellent dinner on christmas eve in the Amade restaurant. The 5 course meal was exquisite and for me puts to rest the criticism of Czech Cuisine. A real nice touch was that the chef came out before we had dessert to discuss the food and see if we enjoyed our meal.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a touch of Bohemian luxury

Stayed here with my wife from Christmas eve till the following week. Upon checking in we were upgraded to a room that must have been 1200 sq. ft. Huge bedroom (comfortable bed), nice living room, half bath and full bath. Great location, busy location. Less than two blocks from the Charles Bridge. Everything you might want to see is in a reasonable walking distance. Reception was very helpful getting us a dinner reservation on Christmas eve at about 6 P.M.. Take into mind that they celebrate christmas on the eve. Loved it, will stay there if we go back.

Ideally located in the centre (but quiet) of Prag. Really very nice, clean and large rooms with a perfect service.

From being met at the airport by a driver arranged by the hotel to fantastic massages and breakfast with delightful young ladies playing classical violin music, it was all excellent. We had booked a junior suite but were upgraded to a stunning deluxe suite which was really lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel and return to it ourselves.

We stayed for 3 nights in a beautiful suite overlooking the Charles Bridge, so in terms of location it was perfect. The staff could not have tried harder, with attentive maids coming in as soon as we went for breakfast, and delivering biscuit treats in the late afternoon. The breakfast was good if not outstanding, the decor was amazing with high ceilings and period furniture.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to any visitors.

We stayed here for 4 nights and chose it because of its location and because it seemed to come highly recommended (c/o trip adviser) and certainly for the deal we got for our stay was excellent value.
The location is ideal for checking out the old town, wenceslas square, and charles bridge to get to the lesser town.
The hotel was in great condition, the staff couldnt have been more helpful.
As with other reviews on here, do not bother with the breakfast, it is a rip off at £20 per head and is not even nice. Nor is the service good in there.
Agree with other reviewers that the Phenix cafe next door is a must and great value for money, we didnt get to have breakfast there but I can only imagine it'd be a better option than the Pachtuv palace option.
That aside you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here, we were delighted with the hotel
