Beautiful hotel with very kind and helpful staff. Most welcoming atmosphere, rooms are quiet, gorgeous decoration. The hotel pool is very small, but one can still swim in it pleasantly thanks to the different jet streams. Short walk to old town or the castle. would love to stay there again!

I have nothing but good comments about this Hotel. From the friendliness and efficiency of the staff to the quality of the public and guest rooms, everything was excellent.
The Hotel is ideally situated just five minutes walk from the Charles Bridge and ten minutes (uphill) to the Old Royal Palace in the Lesser Quarter, a part of Prague that felt a little less overwhelmed by tourists. Staying at this quiet oasis feels like being a guest at a baroque palace, except that a real palace would probably not boast a spa of the quality of the one we found at the Alchymist. We were only there for a short break but will be certain to stay at this hotel again when we visit Prague.

We chose to stay at the hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and we definately made the right decision!

The decor is stunning, really decadant, the staff couldnt have been more helpful - i really cannot recommend the hotel enough.

The spa was gorgeous - they fitted us in at short notice and we had an amaxing massage. There is a lovely coffee shop - lots of lovely places to sit in the hotel and they even do a wine tasting session every day with nibbles - great after a days sight seeing!

Location is also fantastic - a very short walk from Charles Bridge - a great base to explore this lovely city. Looking forward to a return visit in the not too distant future.

We have just returned from 5 nights at the Alchymist. We were upgraded to the terrace suite which was wonderful. So many touches made this hotel very special. After reading reviews on Trip Advisor I must admit I expected a lot of this hotel and it did not fail to deliver. The decor is stunning. We had a 9 year old with us who enjoyed it as well - the pool, which although quite small was excellent and every time we used it we had it to ourselves, the free internet access in the lobby which he could disappear off to for a quick game and I enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese tasting every night! So many hotels now are very penny pinching, but here you were genuinely very welcome and it felt as though whatever you wanted was no trouble for them. We also had a late checkout until 2.00pm and again the message was 'please take your time and leave when you are ready'. Even the room service which can be a bit poor in some hotels was excellent for our evening meal. Try a concert if you have time - very enjoyable and only one hour long.

Fantastic staff, hotel, location and city. If you go to Prague stay here.

There's absolutely no question that this is one of the best hotels in the city. A stone's throw from the Charles Bridge and the Palace, this gem is the perfect place to stay!
