I stayed in this hotel 3 nights. It's perfectly located in a street near the old square and filled with restaurants and bars and small markets. The rooms are clean and well kept. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is complete. The staff is incredible nice. I suggest the walking tours through Prague. The city is beautiful with surprises in every castle and the local cuisine is a must try.

Very central hotel (which can be a little tricky to find first time - look for the ornate letter A at entrance). Close to many of the land marks you are likely to want to see. The attached restaurant is Italian style food, well prepared and served. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for a capital city hotel. Breakfasts are excellent and you can even make yourself us a Bucks Fizz if you want one.

I highly recommend Hotel Antik. The location is great - a stone's throw from Old Town Square. The rooms are neat and clean, and the breakfast spread is delicious. The service was also very helpful and hospitable to two American travelers. Finally, it's a real deal - this is a huge value for your money. This should be recommended in my guidebooks than it is.

Dear client,
Thank you very much for a nice and detailed evaluation. Yes, you are right, we are doing our best to keep the atmosphere of ancient times. It helps a lot that the hotel is in a very centre of the Old Prague. We appreciate that you feel the same. Hope to see you again.

this hotel is a small beautiful place situated very near to the old town, the main railway station (hlavni nadrazi) and prague castle. Airport express bus takes you directly near to the hotel ( namesti republiky). not much of a hastle to locate it on dlouha street.
Excellent location was surely the best part. The receptionist Diana was very helpful in telling us about everything - places around the hotel, public transport , tours etc. It helped us a lot. The room is like a small boutique hotel room with a nice bed, lamps, minibar and bathtub etc.
The breakfast buffet was plain though. Routine stuff was kept but the breakfast room was beautiful.

Room Tip: room on the road side have a good view, also the hotel doesn't have elevators.

Spent 4 days at Hotel Antik, with family ( booking 3 rooms). All of which were very nice. Rooms 101 & 205 were large with generous balconies. We all found the hotel staff very amenable & helpful, also the bar/ restaurant had a lovely chilled atmosphere & was a starting off point for us every evening.
We also ate there 1evening & food was very good. The other major plus point of hotel was the position, within a few hundred metres of Old Town Square & within reach of all other landmarks. In short would recommend.

Of course location is everything but I'd like to add a couple of words about friendly stuff. As well as great service and exellent food in the Anna Restaurant (Cheers Lukas!). We traveled and walked a lot so I'd say the hotel was perfect choice for us.

The beautiful, boutique Hotel Antik, not only gets our stamp of approval but also won our hearts during our stay here over the last five days. Not only does it have the perfect location in the Old Town, being surrounded by the best restaurants and special historical sights. But it also impressed us with it's lovely large, tastefully decorated rooms, beautiful, old victorian bathrooms, the attention to detail and the delicious breakfasts. The best part was the "sound proof" rooms. We had to set our alarms to wake up. It felt like home, I will recommend this to everyone wanting to visit Prague. Tip: Explore the Jewish Quarter, it's a mystical, special area with amazing museums. Some great restaurants to try: Mlejnice (Traditional Crecz), Pepenero (Italian), Diner with Mozart (opposite Astronomical clock) and Kolonial (for cycling lovers-amazing Burgers).
