Outside of building is old & not impressive. But ring bell & go in to find a friendly, helpful staff. The apartment we booked was modern & roomy. Large queen bed, unusual for Europe. Our bedroom could have slept 4 there were 2 couches besides the large bed and two comfortable lounge chairs as well as the desk with the chair. Kitchen had table w 3 chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee and creamer in refrig. Bathroom was small but nicely decorated and you didn't have to worry about shower water getting on floor (for some reason several other hotels wed stayed in had no shower curtain nor door). Very modern and clean apartment. Elevator. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with made to order entrees; lasted us until dinner time. Location near metro & bus & trolley. Buy tickets at Miss Sophies for them. Mini markets restaurants and atms nearby. 2 thrift stores on the block, for inexpensive unique souvenirs
The shuttle to airport was prompt and our driver informative.
Online booking worked well. Free WiFi.

This hostel is fantastic! It's nice and warm, the staff are great and the beds are really comfortable! The bedding is also really good and clean, and the bathrooms are new/modern and really nice as well.
It's a good 20 minute walk from town but we walked it every day and it's not too bad! We booked an 18 person room, they aren't actually 18 in a room, they're actually like 10 in a room made up of bunk beds, with a door that joins them to make 18.
The wifi is also really fast and accessible from everywhere. It's such good value for money, great stay I'd highly recommend!

Room Tip: Ask for a room which others don't walk through so you get a better sleep!

5 female dorm is the best place to stay, lots of room. Nice beds, lots of space for your stuff. Staff is helpful and friendly. Make sure if you take the metro to buy a valid ticket!! They offer 12K tickets, but thats the wrong one and then you get a fine for 800K. So just buy a ticket for at least 24K.

The apartment we rented from Miss Sophie's is across the street from the hostel. They are huge and very modern , clean and have all the little necessities. The staff at the front desk was super nice and helpful and gave great tips for places to visit and places to eat. You definitely should order the breakfast there. It is wonderful and all you can eat with great omelettes , pancakes, french toasts or whatever your heart desires. The tram 22 stop is 5 minutes from the hostel and every morning at 10.10 am a free guided Prag tour leaves from the reception area.
