A good hotel, clean, friendly and in a great location within easy walking distance to all attractions, bars & restaurants!! A couple of negatives its not 4* by UK standards but I didnt pay UK 4* standard price !! Also, we booked a superior room but weren't allocated this on arrival, however it was soon rectified without question!! Overall though, if your ideal of a good hotel is just 1 step away from the hustle & bustle but just 1 step away from being in the main action of a city break, its a great place to stay!! I would definately stay there again when visiting Prague.

Room Tip: Book the Antique/Superior room

we stayed 3 nights at caesar Prague Hotel. At no extra cost the hotel will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel which is a good 20-30 mins journey. You make youre own way back to the airport. We used their transport at a cost of approx £24 which between 4 of us was very reasonable. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are a good size and very quite.Breakfast is a very good continental breakfast and would set you up for most of the day. location is good. within walking distance for the attractions. would recommend a meal on the Marina Boat Restaurant. very reasonable prices. Prague itself is very clean with plenty of bars and eateries. Recommended.

All the recommendations and comments about the Caesar Hotel in Prague made me and my wife book a double room for the five nights we had in the Czech capital in July last year. We arrived earlier than expected but even so the receptionist lady was very kind, so she helped us fill in the forms and gave us an access to the room straight away.

I can say we were very pleased with our room, as it was large enough and perfectly maintained, not to mention that the bathroom was very spacious too. The bed was king-size, thus very comfortable and so were all the amenities available. We had a lot of wardrobe space and a tv set.

We had our breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and we enjoyed it, even if it was not that diverse as we expected. Another drawback was the wireless internet, which was not that fast.

The staff was very helpful, so when we asked we received instructions how to reach the Old Town and even gave us tips on the good restaurants and pubs. The hotel is set very close to the metro station B and some trolley lines, and is just ten to fifteen minutes slow walk to the main landmarks, which served us just right.

At evenings we usually had our dinner outside, but later used to spend an hour at the hotel bar, where we had a drink before going to bed and it was very pleasant way to end a long day of sightseeing.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Despite being a big hotel the service feels personal and the stay very comfortable.

The location is perfect with a tram stop, late night mini-mart, restaurants and a lovely deli/cafe all 2/3 minutes walk from the hotel front door. Many attractions, restaurants and bar are also in easy walking distance. Despite this the area is quiet and away from the very busy tourist areas.

The staff were wonderful from start to finish. They helped arrange a taxi from the airport to the hotel via email as we arrived to late for their shuttle service.

We arrived to find the booking company had not arranged a twin room as requested, not the hotels fault. We were offered a room at a sister hotel or a king size for the 1st night then a twin for the other 3. We chose to stay and were given a complimentary drink and the new room was ready bu 9.30 the next morning with no fuss.

Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The inclusive breakfast was great with lots of choice, varying day to day. We plan to return the Prague next year and will be booking this hotel again.

I stay in quite a few hotels both here in the UK and Ireland and across Europe on city breaks. We booked this hotel because it was 4* rated and had 4 stars here on TripAdvisor. However, in my opinion this is the most basic 4* hotel I have ever stayed in.

Good points:
- Great location. 10min walk from Wencelas Sq and 15 from the Old Town Square.
- Nice breakfast
- Clean

Bad points:
- The rooms are basic at best.
- I was staying to take part in the Prague marathon and at 6am on the morning of the marathon we were woken to a massively loud smashing noise. There was lots of shouting between a man and a woman before the woman started to cry. This all happened in a court yard which is part of the hotel. Not ideal being woken out of a deep sleep to this, on the morning of a marathon.
- Based on the basic nature of the room, the price was very expensive.
- Reception were unable to lend me a Euro to UK power adapter. (Admittedly it was my mistake in forgetting to bring one but we thought this might be a common occurance).
- After returning to the room after a long day in the city the beds had not been made.

I have just arrived from Prague where I have spent a beautiful weekend together with my wife! The hotel is situated in a great location, near the river and about 15 min of walk to the center of the city. The room we have been in was quite big, especially bathroom but it was quite basic and lacks some renovations. However,we were in a room only over the night,so this did not bother us at all.The breakfast is fantastic with plenty of choice,so everyone would be satisfied. The staff are friendly and at your serice anytime you need them.As we arrived by a car it is good to mention that a hotel has a private garage which is charged 25 Euros/day.It is not cheap, but there is no way you could park a car somewhere else.
About city itself, beside amazing historical part of the town my advice to all is to visit Petrin hill,it's park is magnificent!
At the end,I would like to say that almost everyone accepts Euros although national currency is Czech Crown, but before giving the money ask for the exchange rate, right now 1 Euro=23-24 CzK.However,if you want to change the money at the exchange office,my friendly advice to everybody is to be very carefull by which exchange rate you will change it!Read the complete text in front of the office by which rate they are buying/selling and pay attention that they are usually changing exchange rate with the amount of Euros/Dollars/Pounds you want to change,so be carefull!Always ask them before what will be the exchange rate for e.g. 50 Euros you want to change,etc...
To conclude,I suggest everyone to stay in this hotel and to visit Prague as soon as possible!

We stayed from Monday to Friday in this hotel. It is in a good location, walking distance from most of the tourist areas of Prague but far enough out to not be too busy and noisy. Our room was beautiful and the beds comfortable, but things were only 'surface clean'- running a fingertip over surfaces or under beds revealed a HUGE quantity of dust. In the bathroom, again it looked clean but the shower curtain was too short, which led to flooding when we showered; and the pedal bin was missing it's pedal. Housekeeping was pretty good, we got fresh towels every day and the beds remade.
Breakfast was plentiful and not too bad tasting, but the fruit looked past its best.
Our main issue was with staff. The doorman was so intimidating upon our arrival, and the staff acted as though any request was too much trouble for them. They would sigh and speak quite bluntly. Customer service was clearly not high on their list of priorities; we couldn't even get a smile out of them! We were also annoyed to be directed to the lift upon our arrival (with heavy cases) only to find it had been out of order for a few days and we had to drag our cases up to the 4th floor without help. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but next time we might try somewhere different.
