Upon arrival everything looked great. The hotel was clean, the room cosy and the staff friendly and kind. Until me and my partners' cell phones got stolen the night of our arrival! It was probably our mistake, leaving them on the bedside table and not the safe, and we realize that. What frustrated us was the treatment we received on the reception. We were asked several times are we sure we did not lose the phones, then advised to not call the police 'because it is too late and they have more important things to do' (!). Eventually we managed to convince the person that the police should be called. They were very kind and did their best. When we were finished writing at the police station and came back to the hotel we asked for another room, because we did not feel safe in ours. The person on the reception gave us another room with the comment ‘it does not make any difference any more, does it?'. We never heard from a manager and never received even an apology.
