The location is good - we used our car to go to the old town, but there are 2 metro stations (I've been told by the receptionist)... Free parking, in the interior court of the hotel (video surveillance and card access). The room was very clean, very quiet. Good signal for wi-fi, good breakfast. I would stay in my next visit to Prague again in this hotel.

This is a perfect hotel for a city trip! Really nice staff friendly and helpful. Only 10 min. from the metro station. The hotel is neat and quiet. With a various nice breakfast! Good price and quality level.

Room Tip: It is possible to park you're car at the hotel!

We always now look at Trip Advisor before we book any where .The Coronet got great reviews and so we decided to try it and we were not disappointed. We arrived quite late on our first night but were greeted by a very friendly member of staff and he informed us if we needed to eat that there was a nice restaurant only 100 yards away . The" Arrosto" really was only seconds away and made great home made Pizzas (my wife had the wonderful Pizza and I had the fabulous seafood pasta ) , washed down with some very cheap and tasty Pilsner beer . We visited twice and were not disappointed either time. We awoke the next morning and went down to breakfast and again were surprised with how good it it was , considering we only paid £50 per night. There was Scrambled eggs , sausages , smoked salmon , fruits , various breads and lots of hams and cheeses and yoghurts and lots of different cereals . Also served by very friendly and attentive staff , it really couldn't of been better. Although it is situated in a quiet part of town , it is a ten minute walk to the closest Metro and only a half hour walk into the centre of Prague . The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and even had a mini bar. The room was spacious and the bed was big and provided a good night's sleep. Overall it was a great experience and the staff couldn't be faulted for friendliness and helpfulness . We would definitely use again , when we revisit Prague.

I chose this hotel based on good reviews on TripAdvisor but was quite disappointed.

The hotel itself (room and inside) are Ok. Breakfast was Ok, not as great as was mentioned in the review. The worst part about the hotel reviews is that no where its highlighted that the hotel is located in a very isolated neighborhood. The nearest public transport is almost 1KM away, which is not easily walkable as there are lot of steep up and downhill roads. Also its a creepy neighborhood to walk, hardly anybody or any vehicle moving around at most times of the day. Lastly, the price was almost comparable to any hotel I could get near to the main train station which is an area lot more accessible. So I would NOT recommend unless there is a really good price offer and that accommodates for a taxi ride to/fro the hotel.

Room Tip: I do not have any tip for choosing a room. Hotel's back view rooms might be a bit better than fr...

Hotel Coronet
Based on tripadvisor reviews I booked this hotel for four night stay in Prague with my girlfriend at the end of September 2013. The reviews were good and the hotel even better. Due to flight delays we arrived six hours late, after midnight, but the staff was there to give us a friendly greeting. All the service turned out to be very friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and nothing was broken, though it would have been nice to have a single queen or king bed instead of two regular (seems common in Europe?). Besides the service, breakfast was outstanding, with an array of excellent cheeses, sausages, deli meats, smoked salmon, breads, cereals, yogurts, cakes and more. The neighborhood of the hotel is not particularly exciting, neither is the view out of the window, but this is certainly reflected in the price. On the very handy side, the Metro is only a 10 min walk away and from there its minutes to the beautiful center of Prague!

Alerted to the Coronet by our daughter who loved the place on her travels, we decided to spend a few days there last week. She was very much right, its a lovely place with a lovely bunch of people running it. We were really made to feel welcome and enjoyed our breakfasts every morning ( excellent selection of hot and cold food and as much as you wanted basically) The rooms were kept clean and the bed was a king size and really comfy. The metro was around 5/10 minutes walk at a good pace and from there you were in the city in another ten minutes. Regarding directions to the hotel I have found that if you walk it via google street images first you find it no problem, My wife thought I had been there before because I knew the way so well. Don't be put off by the outside of the buildings which look a bit worse for wear, the Coronet is a great place to come home to after a day walking the city..

Room Tip: H'mm tricky we had no problems with the room.. the only thing is that my wife liked it, and more...

We stayed here 20-22 Sept 2013. After losing our luggage on 17 Sept it finally caught up with us here and was looked after by our excellent hostess Katryna. This hotel is a gem, completely modern, great secure parking on site and the breakfast buffet was hot/cold and generally spectacular. Everything (room , breakfast, and parking) included for 72 euros per night - what a great deal. Although we didn't bother with public transit it can be found within minutes walk of the hotel. An excellent restaurant , The Lamplighter is located within 5 minutes walk and the food was inexpensive and very good.. We walked to the city centre through a local park then along the river to City Centre - about 1 hour. There are not too many restaurants close by so ensure they are open. Perhaps while touring the city it would be wise to eat down town before returning to the hotel. On Sat night we returned to find that our Lamplighter was closed for a private party and we had to find another that was open nearby. We did but it was a little difficult.
We would certainly return and highly recommend .

Room Tip: All would be great
