Perfect accommodation with very kindly staff and excellent breakfast. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Although it's not on a direct metro line, it's directly connected to the city center by tram (No. 14). Definitely would recommend to everyone.

Clean and basic room and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. Only downside was that the wifi on our floor didn't work and the breakfast closes too soon. Wish we could have stayed longer and had time to try the jacuzzy and a massage like they offer.

Prague was the fourth country we stopped in our Eurotrip this summer and Extol Inn the fourth hostel we stayed in! We were expecting a regular hostel with not so much to offer as the previous ones. But we were pleasantly surprised as we arrived to this beautiful place, clean, luxury and comfy! The staff were very helpful and frienfly! Nice, quiet neighborhood, not so far from the center. It was an excellent choice!

Thanks to bookings.com, I stayed here for roughly half the price of a private room in a Prague youth hostel, so it was a real bargain. It's a little out of the way, though once you've mastered Prague's public transport this isn't much of a problem. The staff were polite, fluent in English and quite helpful; the bed was comfortable enough; the wifi didn't reach my room but I was able to hire an ethernet cable from reception. The restaurant kitchen closed just as I arrived, so I can't comment on the dinner menu, but the breakfast buffet was okay.
Caveat: It was very warm in Prague when I visited, and the room became quite hot by noon. The window could be opened (Prague is, after all, famous for defenestrations), but this was not advisable after sunset, because of insects from the nearby river. Maybe rooms on the other side of the hotel would be better, but I really don't know how comfortable the place would be in even hotter or much colder weather.

There is only one block walk to nearest tram stop and small shops are everywhere on near streets. The breakfast was tasty but there wasn't television or internet in the rooms. Room was clean and recently renowed and it had space enough. Hotel is located on quiet sidestreet and so tram noise is not notable in the rooms. The hotel fitted me because I spent most of my time out in the city and not so much sitting in the hotel room.
