The hotel is situated just 5 min walking from Andel metro station and tram stop, but use the tram 3 min away instead to go to the old town. Much easier and you will see more. Tram to Wenceslas Square/Václavské náměstí take 10-15 minutes. But Andel has many shops and restaurants(TGI Fridays, sushi, italian, mexican, you namee it...)
Hotel placed in a quiet street, with not much mark of hotel outside. You always need to ring on the bell to get in, so I will say it is a safe place to be.
Check in was easy and fast. Staff talked english. A clean and tiny lobby, with an always empty bar/cafè. I never saw other guests during our stay, except for the breakfast. So you understand this is a small hotel. Ordinary keys to the rooms.
The room was spacious, with a very spacious bathroom. Everything was new, and the shower had always hot water if I needed it. Soap-dispensers in the shower and at the sink with fresh and good soap! Very useful! Always clean. Maid every day, even if we went out at 14 o'clock! Good double sized bed(even if it was a single room), with stretch-sheet like home:-) Althought a cozy room, not feeling like a standard hotel.
No AC unfortunately, and in the summertime, when we were there, it was very hot in the room. But with the fan and not much noise from outside, we could have the windows opened, and did not got heat stroke. The most of the light bulbs did not work at my room number 24(but in the summertime I did not need them either:-P)
No minibar or refrigator, unfortunately, but clean cups every day.
New spacious elevator. I think this hotel inside is OK for an handicapped in a small wheelchair, but outside(not only here, but in whole Prague) it is many landings and cobblestoned streets.
Easy and standard continental breakfast, with the common things, not very complicated.
Free wired internet at all rooms worked very well! I never used the TV, haha, but it is a TV on the wall... And a desk with chair, a closet and bench for the luggage with a safe under(but you have to pay for the lock and key).
I am very satisfied to find this hotel after watching many of the other hotels standard and reviews here on Tripadvisor. Well worth the 40€ for a single room with breakfast(45€ for a double room)!
