This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of old town with several good restaurants
within skipping distance. their breakfasts are excellent and there is a coffee machine in the lobby
where you can tank yourself up on really strong, good coffee. the rooms are comfortable and imaginatively decorated but perhaps the best part for tourists is the staff. Martina and Tomas speak
English which is not true of many places in Prague surprising enough. This gives English speakers a comfort level and provides for an adventure with fewer surprises.

Had a really enjoyable stay at this small boutique hotel very close to the central square in Prague, so really well located. Clean and well equipped rooms, albeit slightly small, friendly and helpful service, nice breakfasts...I'll be back.

thomas made us feel very welcome and was helpful with suggestions, maps, calling for evening activities....anything to help us enjoy the city....there was always wine, water, coffee, and tea available...the included breakfast was fresh and abundant with so many choices you could eat enough to last all day!....all of the desk staff spoke english quite well and were always willing to help...

Room Tip: the basic standard room is a bit small so upgrade if you want more room

The room was smallish, but the character and charm, helpful front desk, breakfasts, and its proximity to the River, the Old town square, so many historical buildings, and so much more, mad ethat irrelevant. A great place to stay in the Old town area and such a beautiful area and city. Thanks.

Room Tip: Some banging noise from the very heavy front door, each time it closed, at times from our room.

We arrived in Prague tired from our day of travel on the trains and were met at the train station by a driver for the Hotel who whisked us off to the hotel. The hotel was very welcoming, and the very friendly receptionist spoke English very well. The hotel is recently renovated while retaining is classic style. The rooms are elegant, with air conditioning and beautifully decorated with golds and reds. Excellent location on a very quiet street less than a 10 minute walk to the main city square, the river, bridge and very close to the old Jewish quarter. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Great breakfast too.

Room Tip: Ask for a driver to pick up at train station, worth the 15 EU charge. We had a back view over the r...

We recently returned home from our stay at the Hastal hotel, as it was our second visit we were given a great welcome by the manager Patrick & the owner Kristian, they took time out to see us personally & give us an insight of the history of this family run hotel, (one of the very few still owned & run by local families) through the generations & the hardships of the second world war, then afterwards when the communist regime took the hotel from the family, they were given it back when the regime ended in the Czech republic, , very fascinating & dramatic, there are photographs & written pieces of the history throughout the hotel that add to the ambience of the building which has kept so much of It's character,

Room Tip: The room we stayed in was very clean & comfortable with great en-suite facilities, the quiet loc...
