Just returned from a week-long stay at The Golden Well. What a wonderful place. Friendly staff, wonderful accommodations (very quiet), quiet and safe neighborhood (Parliament buildings close by so good security), and close to restaurants, subway, sites, and the Charles Bridge. Would highly recommend this hotel for a splurge.

I really loved the hotel.
It is located just 2 minutes from the famous Carlov Most (Charles Bridge) in a historic building, the decoration of the rooms is stylish and cosy. The living room has beautiful ancient painted ceilings. The personnel at the hotel is nice and helpful. A nice warm breakfast is served. It is a very good value for money they ask for accommodation.

I should also note that the pictures of the hotel on the hotel web a very good and you can see everything as it is, including the detailed photos of the rooms.
We booked a suite for 3 people ( we traveled with our son 12 years). The room was very nice and spacious, with a separate bedroom, living room and a big bathroom. There was a good additional bed for our son with an orthopedic mattress.

Lovely little hotel in the old Prague. We were given an unasked for upgrade. Charming family run establishment and really good value. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. Only negative is that you have to keep your windows closed at night because of noise from rowdies, but that's a problem pretty much everywhere in the old town.

Room Tip: Higher up you are, less the noise affects you. Go for third floor.

Certainly the hotel rooms were comfortable and magnificent. The location cannot be beat. All these things were top of the line but even more important was the superb service and friendliness of the staff! We encountered at least 8 different staff people during our stay, and without exception, they were smiling and ensuring that our stay was memorable. We looked at them as part of our own family by the time we left. Whether we needed a restaurant recommendation, help to set-up a ride to the airport or just a little heat to take out the unexpected weather chill (before the heating season), the hotel staff responded quickly and with care. Never ate breakfast elsewhere, the breakfast at the hotel was as good as a 5 star restaurant. We will return!

We rented out the entire hotel 8 rooms for our family gathering. When we found out that the restaurant downstairs in the hotel was closed due to remodeling, the hotel manager offered to provide traditional Czech meals at their breakfast room for us. Delicious homemade dishes were prepared by the parents of the manager. The manager arranged a special cake for celebration of 80th of birthday among our family members as well. We felt as if we visited our friend’s house. All staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and big. We are lucky to choose this hotel for our family gathering.
