Pension U Lilie
Ranked #287 of 646 Hotels in Prague
Reviewed 2 July 2013

The Pension U Lilie is located near the Charles bridge and the centre, i.e. a good location to visit Prague. In addition, metro and bus stop are not far from the hotel.
The room was small but comfortable. A little noisy at night because the building has the wooden walls and there are no shutters.
The breakfast was good and varied.
The staff is friendly and very helpful: e.g., they prepared the breakfast only for us at 4.00 A.M.!
Excellent quality/price ratio.

We stayed in Pension u Lilie in May for 4 nights.
The location is perfect. Charles bridge is just around the corner.
Our room was enough big, confortable and clean.
The staff was really polite and helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good and also we got 10% discount as a hotel guests.
Every day after sightseeing, we enjoyed absolutely amazing cappuccino in the newly renovated backyard garden.
We recommend this pension to all who looking for a nice place in the heart of Prague.

We are on our final night of a 3 night stay and enjoying our evening meal in the guest house. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Prague (despite some poor weather) and in particular here in U Lilie. The accomodation has been first class and the staff/owners have been superb. By the way the breakfast is second to none. If we return to Prague we would certainly come to U Lilie.

We chose this as our base by using Tripadvisor and it proved to be a good choice
Good directions to the Pension allowed us to find it easily
We were amazed that we were so close to all of the major attractions but were still in a quiet place that allowed us a quiet comfortable place to rest when we were tired
All of the staff were pleasant and friendly and they always went out of their way to be helpful

I asked for a quiet room if possible and not only was it quiet, but it was a good size , big enough for large double bed and a sofa, with plenty of room to move around

I am amazed this place is not higher in the rankings of places to stay.

Room Tip: We had room 14 . There is a lift to the second floor but not to the third floor. That was a tough cl...

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of April and cannot fault this excellent guest house. On arrival we were shown to our large double room (11) which had a sofa and chairs as well as a fridge for our drinks and cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. We only had breakfast once (due to our late nights) however it was very good, breads, cereals, cheese, ham, yoghurts etc.
We asked to borrow a hairdryer and an iron which was no problem, all the staff were pleasant especially the guy who let us in every night after midnight. And lastly not forgetting the excellent location a stones throw away from Charles Bridge and the old town square. Brilliant value for money, couldn't recommend anymore!

I was a female solo traveller and choose this hotel.
It was right in the heart of Old Town Prague, 2 minutes from Charles Bridge and maybe 5 minutes from Old Town Square.
The single room was clean and tidy and was made every day. Breakfast was simple with plenty of fruit, yoghurt, toast and even cake! Filled myself up hugely everyday for the mass amount of walking that was to come.
Perfect location and would stay again.

Room Tip: There was works/drilling going on next to my room, which wasn't great. So maybe ask for a room n...
