“Quiet, comfortable, friendly and relaxing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

We have just returned from a short break to Prague where we stayed at the Kampa Garden Hotel. Our welcome on arrival was very warm and friendly. Our twin room was comfortable and very clean, the buffet breakfast with hot and cold dishes set us up each day and all the hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel is set in the Lesser Town but within 3 minutes of Charles Bridge. Cross over the bridge and many of the attractions of Prague are within an easy walk. In the Lesser Town, there are many restaurants which are not as commercial as in the Old Town or New Town. The area is very quiet and we felt perfectly safe even at night. Prague Castle is in the Lesser Town and is around 10 minutes walk away. Our only slight problem was that the room was quite warm, but that was normally cured by simply opening the window! We were very pleased to have picked the Kampa Garden Hotel for our break and would like to thank all the staff, especially the ladies on reception. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting a break in Prague in a quiet area but not far from the 'action' and at a very reasonable price.

The hotel was a nice surprise in Prague! Very good location and breakfast. Near to the great tourists sights. We have done almost everything by foot! The evening at the Charles Bridge was super fantastic!

Such a lovely hotel. We had family suite. Staff were so friendly. Our children loved Stan who couldn't have done more for them. It's a great location. I've been coming to Prague each year since 1997 and can say this is probably the best location possible, right under Charles Bridge. Book it!

We stayed at this hotel after it had been recommended by friends and we had a superb stay thanks to the excellent and helpful staff at this hotel. They were attentive and helpful to the extreme and we could not have been better looked after with helpful suggestions and interest in making our stay as lovely as possible. A special thanks to Natalia, Daniela, Jindra and Standa who were all so helpful.
The location of the hotel is excellent very close to the Charles Bridge with many good restaurants in the close vicinity. We had a room at the back facing the canal and it was very quiet, the room was spotlessly clean. The newly refurbished breakfast room was inviting and served an excellent breakfast which set you up for the day. The hotel is reasonably priced and we booked direct with the hotel to get the best price. The staff will arrange the taxi to the airport and help with any information you need. Choose this hotel for superb service.

Room Tip: Choose a deluxe room facing the canal (eg room 302)

We have always liked small hotels with a personal service. If you want that, a nice and a quiet place to stay with an excellent service CHOOSE Hotel Kampa Garden.

The location could not be better, Charles Bridge is just round the corner. We had a room where windows were towards garden of French embassy. I am a light sleeper and usually don’t sleep well but now I did. There was no noise at nights.

The room was big enough for two, very clean and nice. We liked the electric kettle in which we could boil the water and drink a cup of coffee/tea around the little table whenever we wanted :)

The breakfast included the price and it was good with various fruits, breads, coffee/tea, cheese, ham etc. Breakfast room was cosy, too.

The last but not the least was the service. Staff made everything and more that we had a good vacation. Taxi arrangements to the airport, dinner reservations, just name it and they did it. So helpful, polite and nice people you don’t meet often. Thanks for everything!
You won’t regret if you choose this hotel!

My stay in Prague was most memorable, thanks largely to the most hospitable, friendly and generous staff at the Kampa Gardens.
The hotel was very nice, great location, reasonably priced, but what stood out without doubt was the incredible service offered.
I would highly recommend this hotel as a place to base yourself whilst in Prague.
I will return to Prague one day and wouldn't hesitate to return to this establishment.

Regards,

Julian

This hotel is good from every point of view. On the one hand it is situated in the secluded area, quiet place ( no noisy tramways) with Chertovka canal and park just near the hotel, but on the other hand it is a stone's throw from the most famous places of interest, cafes and souvenir shops in Prague.
Delicious breakfasts with only-baked croissants and buns - very good beginning of the day!
Cosy rooms that are cleaned everyday.
And the last but not the least - friendly hotel staff. Special thanks to Daniela and Jindrich, who helped us a lot not to get lost in avalanche of places to visit and attractions of this one of the most beauiful european cities, they were sympathetic and polite.

Stay in Kama Garden you won't regret it!

Room Tip: we lived in room number 202 (ok for two people)
