Stayed at the Angelo for four nights in May and found it to be a very good four star hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure that you where well loooked after. The rooms where very clean and well proportioned. The only downside (if you could call it a downside) was the fact that you really should use the subway to get into the center of Prauge tourist area just to save your legs for walking around this beautiful city . Now don't get me wrong this is not really an issue, the metro is around the corner from the hotel, fast clean and easy to use. And if you want to you can walk but it was'nt something I did. One niggling point is that they seemed to run out of the basics at breakfast such as Orange juice and bread to toast when it gets close to the time that the breakfast service was due to finish. Other than this there seemed to be alot of choice at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to my best friend.

I loved this hotel from the minute I stepped into the lobby. The Jazz bar looks great though it's a bit on the expensive side (aren't all lobby bars), also rooms are roomy, decorated colorfully and modernly. We had problems with our booking thanks to our travel agent, but the hotel reception was very helpful and sorted our problems out for us very quickly. Breakfast was also excellent, plenty of different food to choose from. One of the best valued hotels I've been in Europe :)

This hotel is great! We had a deal staying three nights for under 200 euro. The rooms are very stylish and big. The beds are comfy and everything is clean and well looked after. The Angelo hotel is a new hotel with a friendly and helpfull staff. Location is perfect!!! The hotel is situated in a trendy neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, shops and public transport options. We had a wonderfull time here and we would def. recommend this place for seightseeing Prague!

Stayed for 2 nights with colleagues. Well placed for shopping and main tram connections. Close enough to the centre to walk. Restaurant is basic, but breakfasts are good. Overall a very decent hotel for business or leisure guests.

When we got off the train we were worried that we were stuck in the middle of nowhere! However we were mistaken and the hotel is in a great location for getting round the city using the transport links. We really appreciated the style fof the hotel and the rooms had all the amenities you needed - the TV was impressive! The bathroom was a joy and the rooms were kept spotless. The breakfast was lovely and det us up for the day nicely. Would return.

This has probably been my best stay at a hotel in Europe thus far. The hotel itself has an excellent, modern and clean feel in a trendy building next to the movie theatre and a block or so away from the department store Tesco (where you could do your shopping *and* get groceries). The tram is also just a block away so it's great for public transportation.

The rooms and bathroom are very clean. The beds are cozy and come with extra fluffy pillows and comforters. They have an excellent breakfast buffet in a spacious area filled with delicious choice of breads, hot food and sumptuos Czech desserts such as kolache. Breakfast opens early so you could get a head start on your day if necessary.

We stayed on a Czech November which tends to be extremely cold but on the plus side, the discount on this hotel was great. Also beware that the hotel is not on the Old Town section of the city. However, this shouldn't be a problem since you could practically traverse this city on foot, transportation is plentiful and again, you could catch a tram a block away.

As for the service, I was mildly surprise that we were not escorted to our room. There was a bit of confusion with operating the elevator (you have to swipe your key in the elevator to get to your floor) but other than that, it was fine since we did not require an escort to our room anyway. The staff were very nice and helpful when it came to asking for directions. What was even better was the fact that they prepared for us breakfast packs (with sandwich, fruit, dessert, drinks, and treats a plenty) on our return trip home. Our flight left early morning so the "breakfast bags" were ready for us before we left.

All in all, this hotel is highly recommended. It's great for both families and couples looking for a comfortable stay in Prague.

Arrived in Prague after flying from the West Coast of USA and just needed to get oriented to new time and place. What a warm greeting from the staff--it was like coming home. Because of a computer glitch, it took the desk staff a few moments (not hours) to find my paperwork. They were SO apologetic about the delay and upgraded me to the business floor as a result (floors 6&7).

The room was really nice--very modern, beautiful bathroom, very quiet. Quite upscale--but in keeping with new standards, not huge--comfortable. I looked at the modern chair, sat in it anyway and was amazed at how it molded to my weary body.

The staff were truly friendly and helpful about giving us directions and explaining where things were. The hotel is about two blocks from a new shopping center which includes Tesco and a food court . Three blocks to Prague's excellent subway system (trolleys in front of the shopping center). On trolley or subway it's very easy and fast to get to the castle area, old town or Charles Bridge.

Be sure to opt for the inclusion of breakfast. It can be pricey if added on, but a great value if included with the room. And a very nice, full breakfast it is.

The business floor was great because there was a cappucino machine (free) near the elevators along with two free of use computers (with a small fee printing option).

My stay with just about perfect--I hope yours is too!
