We have stayed 8 nights in August 2012 in a quad room with 2 young children.
The hotel is very convenient, room was large with 2 bedrooms separated by a door and a spacious bathroom. Beds were very good; The room was perfectly made up every day with all linens and towels changed and bathroom fully resupplied with soaps etc. We were pleasantly surprised to find a laundry machine in the bathroom (in practically new condition) which helped us a lot during this long stay.
Breakfast is quite rich and varied although it is exactly the same every day (we had 8 of them...).
The location is very good for quiet and you can find a lot of restaurants / shops nearby. However to access the public transport you need to walk downhillfor a few minutes to Malostranské náměstí; if you come back the same way you need to walk uphill (not steep though) which can be a nuisance after an active day. There is a small bus that can take you but it runs every 15 minutes or so and stops running quite early in the evening.
I do not recommend coming to the hotel with a car for 3 reasons: (1) very narrow streets (2) expensive parking, no public spaces (3) Nearby US embassy has every car entering the region searched, so you'll be getting out of the car and popping the hood quite frequently.More
