“Totally loved the Appian Way.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2013

We picked up this hotel for its sensible priced deluxe room and its ranking. We are glad we did, it totally enhanced the great experience Prague was for us. Upon arrival the guy manning the reception desk (Daniel i think) gave us a map and pointed out places of interest and went out of his way to show us how to get to some crazy places that we had in mind (zoologicka zahrada heh).
Every guy and girl working in the reception desk was kind and helpful to us.
We got comfortable in our room (308) and caught a glimpse of Prague Castle from our window as we got ourselves ready for our first walk. The room was tidy, cozy and comfortable. Really warm considering it was 4 Celsius during our stay and we hung around in T-shirts while in.
Bath was clean, complete with a large 2-person tub, hairdryer and every other amenity.
Wi-fi was available with a personal router for each room mind you.
Breakfast was really great and i provide many pictures to support that fact. We were full till afternoon daily.
The hotel is located right below Prague castle (5 min) and close to Loretta and Strahov Monastery (7 min). It's a 10 min stroll till Charles Bridge and a tram station taking you to Malostranska metro station. The city is pretty much walkable so no problems there, just have in mind that arriving and leaving with baggage might take some effort.
If i re-visit Prague i will stay there again for sure.

We stayed 3 nights on the last leg of our 3 cities trip. We had booked a deluxe double room. What we got was an apartment! Large, comfortable bed/living room with king size bed, plenty of floor space, sitting area. We also had a dining kitchen with minibar/fridge. Good sized bathroom, and all situated just off the lovely hotel courtyard.

Breakfast room was amazing - full of character, and what a spread. Hotel was spotless throughout. Staff were friendly. Special mention for Daniel, who we dealt with most, and who was extremely helpful and efficient.

The hotel is really well situated in a quite part of Prague, but wihin easy walking distance of the attractions.

Well satisfied - would not dream of staying anywhere else if we were to return to Prague.

We was 3 nights in the Hotel Appia. This was the best holiday in Prague. We often travel, but Prague was the best holiday. Prague is very beautiful city. From the hotel is it 5minutes on Charles Bridge and to the center is it 20 minutes by walk. Is it very good walk. Hotel was very beautiful. We was in room 301 and this room was lovely. Cleaned room was every day. Is it very quiet street and great for sleep. People in the hotel was very friendly. Breakfast was good and was rich selection foods. The place on breakfast was beautiful. In the hotel is possible parking, it's great. We recommend this hotel in Prague is the best.
