“Very comfortable stay and great location”
Reviewed 20 January 2014

Stayed here for a couple of days in July 2013. Excellent location and the hotel is very comfortable.
The wi-fi worked only in the lobby and never in the room which was an annoyance.

Would definitely love to come back and stay here. The staff at the front desk were friendly too.

This is a typical nice Marriott Courtyard hotel. The beds are comfortable, rooms with good noise proofing, coffee and tea facilities in the room, ironing stuff and internet (free only in the lobby), nice bathroom with sufficient toiletries. The gym in nothing to get excited about, only few machines and not great ones. But it is there and I used it. There is parking, though pricey but convenient, don't go to Prague city centre by car if you can help it! The metro is very close and takes you to the centre really fast and cheaply. I didn't eat breakfast there as I thought it expensive, so can't comment. Would go again if the price was right. Great for business travellers.

I would return a thousand times to this hotel. The staff is great, everybody speaks a perfect English and they very kind and helpful. Also the breakfast is great and the room huge and very clean.
The highlight is the subway station, one minute walking far from the hotel. Also, there's a shopping mall in front! It's perfect!

This hotel is quite good. Everything was fine: room, facilities, cleaning, reception...
The only bad thing is the lack of a free wi-fi service in the room: it costs 10€ per day (too much).

The best thing is the position: next to the Flora metro station and shopping center. You can reach the center in just 5 minutes.

Writing this review still staying, can tell you that this is a perfect hotel for a weekend break in Prague. Huge , very clean rooms, with all the amenities you need. Great breakfast as well. It is not in the centre, but located to a very nice neighbourhood(Vinohrady), 30 minutes walk to old town hall, or four stations ride with metro(Flora to Mustek, 10 minutes). Opposite a mall(Flora) from where you can buy anything you want, or even eat!

Reviewed 31 December 2013

We chose this hotel for our December trip to Prague as we wanted to be away from the main town centre, but close enough to transport links in case of bad weather. The Courtyard Marriott Flora fitted this brief perfectly. The nearest Metro Station (also named Flora, which had the added bonus of being easy to remember!) was literally just across the road inside of a large, modern shopping centre. The metro was easy to navigate and trains arrived every few minutes, so we never had to wait long. Flora lies on the A line, which gives quick and easy access to the Old Town, Jewish quarter and Wenceslas Square, as well as the closest stop to Prague Castle without the need to change train. The line also links easily to both B and C lines and bus / S train and tram routes to access other attractions. One word of warning though - if you don't like escalators, you may struggle, as long escalators seemed to be the only way to access some of the metro stations- there were stairs or lifts in some locations, but no obvious sign of them in others (they may just be hidden!)

The hotel is modern and comfortable. Our room had two large beds and was a decent size. There was a large desk, with comfortable chair and armchair. The bathroom was fairly large and contained a bath. The fridge and safe were free of charge and a good size and there was an iron and ironing board as well as a kettle with Tea and coffee provided. The free wifi in the lobby worked well and the 24 hour mini market was very useful when you fancied a quick snack. Our stay included breakfast, which was plentiful, varied and of a good quality. We found all staff to be very friendly and helpful - the reception staff were happy to give advice about the best way to get to local sites ( you can purchase the short term and 24 hour transport tickets from the hotel) and to book trips - they booked us onto the excellent 'All inclusive' tour at 9pm on our first night, which meant that we could do this 6 hour trip the next day.

All in all, we loved Prague and would return to this hotel again.

This hotel is exactly what you would expect from any Marriott. Staff all friendly and efficient, especially Jan on the front desk who was especially friendly and recommended local nightlife.

This hotel is well located next to a large shopping mall and the metro station at Flora. Ten minutes gets you to the heart of the city. Would definitely stay again.
