“Pretty Much Perfect”
Reviewed 6 February 2014

This hostel has an amazing location, and the staff is great. The free breakfast is good. It is super clean. I feel like they were always cleaning, which I consider to be a good thing. The doors seem to slam a lot, but other then that it was pretty quiet. The common room was tiny, and it was hard to meet other backpackers, but other then that I loved it. They also had free cookies out all the time, which was nice. David and Josue are awesome.

As far as a hostel goes I did not think the rooms were that small. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm, and I have seen the beds a lot closer together. You get free lockers and they even have free towels and blow dryers at the front desk. I felt like the it was a very good value, and I would recommend it to everyone.

the best thing of this hostel is for sure the location...2 minutes walk from the main square.

we stayed in a 5bed dorm and the room was quite small, as the toilet an the shower...

anyway, everything looked "fresh" and brand new..

The best feature of this hostel is the location. It is in the middle of Old Town area and only few steps away to Old Town square. From here, you can find literally anything (shops, tourist center, restaurants, tourist attraction). Another good thing is the free breakfast included (sandwich, cereals, juice, coffee, tea). The kitchen also has good equipment to cook. However, several things can be improved to make the stay become more convenient.

-They used pretty high rates when converting the booking price per night into koruna, which is not anticipated by us.
-The wall of the room is thin so it is quite noisy during the night
-The room is clean but super basic and rather small. Oh, and they don't have mirror in the room.
-There are 2 shower in one bathroom in the common hallway but there is no lock in the bath room door
-The quality of the shower is not too good. The water didn't flow well and and the hot water didn't work well
-The light in the bath room use sensor sensor system so it will be automatically off after few minutes. It becomes very inconvenient because the light always turn off when you take a shower every now and then.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Beds were comfy and hot water was
Good. Good wifi connection in the dorm too. Great location just off the old square and close to the train station for the airport. Breakfast is average but does it job. Staff were helpful and decent. Was an easy place to come back too after walking around Prague all day.

Had to move here due to our original booking being moved from another to this one at short notice. Same owner seems to own also the Prague Square Hostel. The hostel is slightly off the the old town square, which is reachable in under 5 minutes. We stayed in the 8-Bed dorm, the beds are fairly comfortable which each having a own locker to store valuables. The hostel is spread over several floors, I can't say for the other floors but out floor (3rd Floor) only had one toilet and 2 showers for at least 20 people which I would consider not sufficient enough. Breakfast is included in the room price consisting of two cereals and orange juice, as well as a small sandwich. FREE WIFI through out the hostel. FREE luggage storage for early arriver's and people who want to leave a little later than the check out time at 10 o' clock. 24h Reception which offers the usual service you can expect. Also FREE earplugs, towels, and hairdriers are on offer. For those who don't have their own devices for surfing the internet two computers are provided. The kitchen is small, but has everything needed for cooking. The Common room is pretty unspectacular, as it underground and doesn't offer much more than a few tables and couches.

Room Tip: I would rather go for a smaller room, the 8-Bed option is a bit cramped.

We loved this place from start to finish. The hostel was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely and friendly. They helped us with the main sights to see and bar crawls to go on. Our shared dorm had lockers so there was no issue with security. The hostel is located right off the the old town square and everything was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend to friends and would stay here again.
