A clean hotel, decent size room, hot shower with great pressure, easy access to public transit (one block away!), and good breakfast. Free internet works OK .. bit spotty in our room but usually it was OK. Would definitely stay again and recommend. It's about 15-20 minutes by tram from the old center, and it's a nice experience seeing a non-touristy part of town. Also, there's a "Penny Market" next door (supermarket) where you can stock up for food and water for the day (picnic, sightseeing, etc). Local prices instead of tourist prices.

Room Tip: If wifi matters to you, maybe ask to get one closer to the central hallway .. I suspect the router i...

In this hotel I was staying for a week with my boyfriend. From the hotel, I was very excited. We left at the last minute and therefore our hotel was even more money, but when we leave ended, we were very satisfied. At the reception welcomed us very friendly and helpful receptionist advised us to everything, help and yet it was always night on us smiling pleasantly. In the morning, surprised us with delicious hot buffet breakfast, plenty of cold meats, cheeses, cakes, cornflakes, coffee, tea, milk ... all enough. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the city and the city center is about fifteen minutes by tram pleasant way. The hotel has clean, comfortable, pleasant scent everywhere ... When we entered the hotel, we felt like home and so it was throughout our stay.

Super holiday

Room Tip: all rooms in this hotel is good

I was liveing in prague in this amazing family hotel in august. We ate everynight in the hotel restaurant . They are preparing a really nice czech couisine like a goulas with knodel, delicious pork ribs and amazing beer in a really good price. The restaurant staff are so friendly. The chef of the restaurant came to our table ask if its food good and if we liked it. Hotel is just 15 minutes from the center. With a tram n 17 or number 3. Our room was big with a sofa inside.staff was really nice .They help us with all our questions. We also used a trips like to go to vienna or dressden. I can just said that this hotel is really comfortable and friendly.

Room Tip: Number 106

Upon entering my tiny single room I realized that my suiter wouldn't fit in the closet which was missing two out of four hangers, there was no safe or mini bar, the four channels of Czech TV came in nice and clear, and there was only one very small bath towel and one pillow!
Hence I needed to place my valuables in the hands of the manager (w/o receipt) and hope for a more complete cramped room (suiter spread out on the floor) when I move somewhere sometime the next day (the hotel's completely full, you know?). And relax passively learning Czech while watching the Ruskies battle the Czechs on ice (I'm not sure who won).
Except for some good bread the included breakfast spammed the gamut from wierd to scary... Who eats Coco-puffs? Do they really need 7 kinds of meat and 2 or 3 kinds of mystery slop and/or spreads? Canned pickled onions? The fried home potatoes gave me heartburn for days... And the automatic machine made coffee was abominable, but would they kick start the massive (Zamboni?) espresso machine at 7am? No! How about for additional cost? No!
Except for the beer and the local bread, the all the local food in that area is a dicey proposition... People are grim (Grimm?), don't smile or say hello in any language, mostly...Most people at the hotel and elsewhere do not speak English...
There are dogs in the hotel, dogs in the restaurants, dogs in the bars, dogs on the trams and, of course doggie doo-doo on the side walks...
Any way things got a little better and a whole lot worse, but that's another chapter. I left under threats of...I'm not quite sure...
