I was in the hotel with my husband . In the first 5 mminutes we were amazed by a receptionist she was so kind she made early check in for us without a problem. Breakfast are nice typical spread and croissant are so nice and fluffy .
Rooms were cleaned every day also a towels .It was really nice to have a dinner in the restaurant pork ribs with a honey and spicy sauce were delicious and friendly waiter.
If you will leave early they will prepared you a brakfast pocket is so cute from the staff ... So i ´m just happy to know about this hotel . If i will come once again to Prague from Slovakia absolutely just in hotel U Divadla.

Room Tip: 308 a really nice king size bed , choose this one, higher floor

The hotel itself was great overall
The hotels staff were very helpful and efficient
The room we had was very clean, spacious and with a very good en-suite but without drinks making facilities, the noise of the electric gate opening and shutting outside was a bit intrusive and the TV had no remote; picky remark I know
The dinner service and food was very good, great value for money with a fairly good choice, I can particularly recommend the goulash dish which was both very good and very cheap.
The breakfast service consisted mainly of cereals, fruit/yoghurts with some cheese meat but limited plus some local dishes which were different, replenishment is also a bit sporadic!
The hotel is located approx 30 mins from centre of Prague via a very frequent(every 5 mins) nearby tram service, best to get the tram tickets from the tobacconist around the corner; be aware that it only sells 30 mins expiration tickets so best to purchase several per person for the outgoing and return journeys plus any other travelling, we worked on the basis that they only started to expire when you first had any single ticket punched, they're also extremely cheap, longer expiration tickets are available but you've got to know where you can get them and some of the very few ticket m/c's we actually saw at stops, didn't actually work.
The area around the hotel is not very celubrious but in no way threatening, we ate at a pub across the road from the tram stop and although it looked dowdy and graffiti on the outside, the inside was very nice and the food most enjoyable.

Room Tip: We had a executive room which was of a very good size, also lookout for the electric gate out of the...

Let me set the scene - So I was taking my girlfriend away for her birthday and decided to go to Krakow for 3 days then to Prague for another 3 days. A bit of planning was involved from the airports to the hotel as I was on a budget.

When we got to Prague I roughly knew which trains/trams to catch to get to the hotel. It was a however a bit confusing when we got there as we arrived in Prague via the over night train. I would say it took about 30 minutes from the train leaving Prague's station to getting to the hotel.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were very welcoming! We arrived very early, I'd say 2-3 hours before check-in. However I did let the hotel know we would be arriving early and when we got there they had prepared everything for us and even let us have breakfast that morning at no extra charge.

Breakfast every morning is good, it is a mixture of cerals, meats, fry ups etc.

The public transport is a little confusing as they have pretty much every kind of public transport going.

The receptionist working at the hotel was fantastic and very helpful, her English was spot on and you could not fault how helpful she was. She advised us that the quickest and cheapest way into the city was via the trams.

To use the trams you need to make sure you have a ticket for them which you can purchase at many local stores, one which is situated outside the hotel. You can buy tickets that last for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes and so on. From the hotel to the tram it is no more than a 3 minute walk, the tram then into the city is 10-15 minutes max. Sorry I cannot remember which tram number it is so you may need to ask yourself.

Prague itself is amazing, I cannot say much else on this so back to the hotel!

Right, so the room - "Spot on!" Is how I would describe it. We had a corner room on the 1st floor of the hotel, it had a small corridor which had a large wardrobe in, then a door leading to the large bedroom, and another to the beautiful bathroom.

The bedroom was comfortable, spaceous quiet and clean. The bathroom was a decent size itself, with a large bath tub and shower hose but unfortunately no where to clip the shower hose. But lets me honest it isn't the end of the world!

So yeah to sum up the hotel was fantastic, very helpful and friendly staff, great location and a very nice place to stay!

I hope this has helped anyone looking at places to stay in Prague but I highly recommend this hotel.

we waited about 20 minutes to check in but after that we went to our room where we found 2 single beds pushed together to make a double.
The bathroom was superb and the shower was to die for!

We had a mini bar which was restocked every day and we just paid the bill at the end of our stay.

Unfortunately other than the breakfast we got from there we never tried the food from the resteraunt. the first night we got their we intended to but the kitchen closed at 8pm.

The breakfast had a choice of everything although it was the same choices every day. Fresh bread and local pate tasted lovely.

Staff very friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from the town and bridge where it all happens but a quick tram ride which cost a little more than a pound was all it took to get there. Only downfall was having to walk under the road in walkways of an evening where there were lots of people loitering around.

To avoid that we decided on our final night to get a taxi into town but the word robbed comes to mind. 600 czech korona to get to town when the other nights we were there we got a taxi back which cost 170 and 190 czech. The driver drove like a maniac and when questioned about the cost he just said 'Give.' Quite shocking really but the saying is what goes around comes around and i am sure he will get his comuppence.

The staff at the hotel told me they would follow it up but that wont pay back the 400 Czech difference it cost us.

As for the transfers from the airport they were so poilte and well mannered, grabbed our bags and helped us whenever we wanted. They got big tips for that and was well worth it and well earned.

Myself and my wife went on honeymoon and the city is a beautiful place and we wont let the ignorant robbing taxi driver ruin our image of a great honeymoon. It was just a shame.

Room Tip: Cheap and basic and just 20 minutes from all the action.

A clean hotel, decent size room, hot shower with great pressure, easy access to public transit (one block away!), and good breakfast. Free internet works OK .. bit spotty in our room but usually it was OK. Would definitely stay again and recommend. It's about 15-20 minutes by tram from the old center, and it's a nice experience seeing a non-touristy part of town. Also, there's a "Penny Market" next door (supermarket) where you can stock up for food and water for the day (picnic, sightseeing, etc). Local prices instead of tourist prices.

Room Tip: If wifi matters to you, maybe ask to get one closer to the central hallway .. I suspect the router i...

In this hotel I was staying for a week with my boyfriend. From the hotel, I was very excited. We left at the last minute and therefore our hotel was even more money, but when we leave ended, we were very satisfied. At the reception welcomed us very friendly and helpful receptionist advised us to everything, help and yet it was always night on us smiling pleasantly. In the morning, surprised us with delicious hot buffet breakfast, plenty of cold meats, cheeses, cakes, cornflakes, coffee, tea, milk ... all enough. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the city and the city center is about fifteen minutes by tram pleasant way. The hotel has clean, comfortable, pleasant scent everywhere ... When we entered the hotel, we felt like home and so it was throughout our stay.

Super holiday

Room Tip: all rooms in this hotel is good
