Had a 2 night stay in Prague with my Girlfriend. We picked this hotel due to location and the pictures from the rooms.
The room we got was on the top floor. Absolutely beautiful room! Super comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was tasty but simple.
Didn't have lunch or dinner at the restaurant due to being full both evenings.
Would definitely stay there again when going to Prague, and I would recommend it to all my friends and family!
Great location just off the main in the Mala Strana, with easy access to Old Town, New Town & the Castle District (right in the middle of all of them). Plus, two blocks to Tram 22 (goes so many places you'll want to go) and two stops on that to the Metro -- really fast and easy -- as well as walking distance to many places. Nice to be so close to Charles Bridge -- 5 minute walk tops -- but off the tacky main drag leading right up to it, as you can go early in the morning and late in the evening to experience its magic, which is impossible during the day when it's mobbed. VERY friendly and efficient hotel management and servers in the brewery/restaurant. Nice mix of international, independent travelers and locals at the bar/restaurant. Best hotel breakfast, beds, and bathroom we had in Europe during 3 weeks. If you need an elevator or must have air conditioning, this place is not for you if visiting in the heart of summer; however, that being said, it was in the mid-80s (F) every day we visited, and we were very comfortable. We kept the windows and curtains drawn during the day while we were out and opened them up at night once the day heat subsided. But know that if you have the windows open all night like we did, you will hear noise echoing up from the street below in front and the beer garden in back if you have a room that opens to both; just distant people noise and occasional vehicles -- No problem for us. If visiting when you would have the windows closed, this is a VERY quiet hotel. When I return to Prague, I will stay here again. I'm generally a wine drinker, but I couldn't get enough of the beer at the on-premise micro-brewery, especially the dark -- highly recommended.
We had a large comfortable deluxe room with a large bed and interesting wallpaper, but don't pack too much as you have to carry everything up as there's no lift.
The beer was the best we had whilst in Prague (and that's saying something in this city) and the food was local and interesting. Breakfast was good, and great when you get a fresh waffle with cream!
There is no parking and it is limited and expensive anywhere close, not a real problem as you won't need a car during your stay but worth planning parking in advance.
My Prague friend suggested me this hotel, so it was save choice for us. The best of all is the location! It is just 30 meters from Charles Bridge.
The room was really big (but we didn’t spend much time inside anyway) and service was friendly. The price is quite high, well everything in Prague is a bit more expensive than we expected (except of beer). The breakfast was almost too simple for the price, but the quality of products was OK.
And the most important – the bed. It was just the perfect bed, so because of the bed I give 5 stars!
This was our first time in Prague and we are so glad we stayed at Lokal Inn. The location could not have been better. A quite street 30 seconds from Charles bridge in Mala Strana. We were close to everything without all noise. Soo glad we did not stay in old town. Too touristy with the shops and crowds. We could either walk across the bridge or take the tram a couple blocks away to anywhere in Prague. The Mala Strana area was great as well.
Our room was on the 3rd floor (32) which meant a lot of steps but worth it. The bed was as good as the posts have mentioned. The best hotel bed I have ever stayed in. The room decor was ok but it was very nice with all the wood beams. The lower level bar was a neat experience. The restaurant had great food although our waiter could have been much nicer. The noise from the restaurant did not bother us at all, which was a minor concern after reading some of the posts.
I highly recommend the Lokal Inn and would stay there again!
My friends and I travelled to Prague for a nice long weekend. The hotel arranged a transfer for us at 600kr (about £18.00) which we felt was super cheap! We were greeted at the hotel by a lovely receptionist, who informed us that our room was already ready for us (check-in wasn't till 2pm but we arrived just after noon) She also gave us some fabulous tips re. our stay, things we should see and food that we should try. We were given a family suite and my goodness we were impressed. The rooms were huge and the air con was fabulous! Everything was completely spotless and we really couldn't fault it. Once we had checked in, we decided to go for a walk around the area and to our astonishment, we found that we were only about 100ft from the Charles Bridge! We couldn't believe our luck!
During our stay, we ate in the Lokal restaurant. The food was beautiful! It was evident that it was all very much home-cooked! The beer that they brew, on site, was absolutely wonderful! It was so smooth! I'd even go as far as saying it's the best I've ever tasted!
We had so much fun! The only thing I will say is that if you have children who don't sleep well or or are looking for a quiet stay, stay on the top floor and close your windows as there can be some noise from the beer garden and the street outside.
Overall, I'd have to say that the Lokal Inn is the most wonderful B&B I've ever stayed in! Can't recommend it enough!!!
