“Loved it!!”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

We stayed for 3 nights at this fabulous place. There was a bit of communication problems getting our booked ride to the hotel. I think it was mostly us, not knowing where to meet him.
We arrived at the hotel to meet Stefan at the front desk. What an amazing host he was. We were early so he kept our luggage and moved them to the room when it was ready. We returned a few hours later and were shown our room. It was great. Very clean, great beds, nicely decorated. There was no air conditioning so he brought us a fan. The location is fabulous for the views, walks through the park and along the wall. It was 5 mins to the Castle. 10mins to the bridge (down hill). Breakfast in the coutyard or iside was perfect. The staff are some of the best we have encountered on our vacation. Ask for suggestions where to eat. It is easy to get over charged. The local restaurant and brewery is a good place to eat.
Our family of 4 with 2 tenns really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you Stefan, you really made our stay enjoyable. You are definitely an asset to the hotel, as well the cook and cleaning staff.

Our family of four (two children 11 and 14 two adults) stayed here for three nights in early August and we just loved it. We stayed in the top floor room with a mezzanine floor and it was really spacious and comfortable for us. The room was also very clean with a nice modern bathroom. The bonus was a view of Prague Castle from one of the windows.
When I booked the hotel it looked like it wasn't that centrally located but the location is perfect unless you want to be slap-bang in the middle to the city. It was a short walk to Prague Castle (with a late-night mini-mart, ATMs and a good selection of restaurants along the way), but was so blissfully quiet at night we could sleep with the windows open. Last but not least, the staff were really helpful and kind. The breakfast was also very good, high quality with plenty of choice.

Room Tip: The too floor room with a mezzanine can comfortably sleep five

this is a really nice little hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and decent rooms. Nice breakfast and helpfull people.
The best of it all is the location. You're in the monastry overlooking Prague far from the hustle and bustle of the city center yet within walking distance of this beautiful city.
Walking down to the cite you walk through some vineyards and past the palace.
There's a nice restaurant next to the hotel where you can have a nice dinner with a view.
We stayed here juli 2012 (but couldn't select that from the menu below)

We found this hotel on the Internet and we were not disappointed. In fact, we were delighted!!! Luckily our cab driver knew the hotel, because others had difficulty finding it, but it was well worth the hunt. A very old property remodeled to provide every modern amenity, except elevators. However, the gentleman at the front desk was happy to help with luggage, as well as answer any questions we had. He directed us to a wonderful lunch spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Our bed was quite comfortable. Be warned that not all the rooms have air conditioning. We opened our windows and were fine. The breakfast that was included was quite delicious. We enjoyed ours on the outside terrace, where we relaxed the night before and enjoyed a glass of wine. The hotel is centrally located and many points of interest were within easy walking distance. We were amazed with the cleanliness of the area and so enjoyed the sights. I highly recommend this property to everyone visiting Prague.

Room Tip: If you cannot live without air conditioning, be sure to request a room that has it.

This was such a lovely place to stay! Staff were very friendly, the hotel has real character, and it was nice to be out of town a little bit, it was quiet, and the views were lovely. The stairs to our room would be tricky if you were not very mobile, but we loved the quirkiness of our room, which had a mezzanine for the bed! Lovely views.

Room Tip: Our room was on the top floor, which was a pain with the stairs, but well worth it for the view.

This hotel is small (13 rooms), very efficiently run, featuring highly attentive and knowledgeable staff, delicious breakfasts and a location that allows for getting to Old Town Prague easily either by foot or by tram. We were blessed to have 4 nights in this historical landmark, set on the hill above Old Town.
Staff was a great help with reservations for dinner and for the famous Image Black Light Theater, We will definitely stay here again if we are able to return to Prague!

We stayed in this hotel recently for 2 nights, and were extremely pleased with almost every aspect.
The concierge / receptionist was outstanding. Good english and extremely helpful and friendly at all times. Helped us get dinner reservations and with advice on seeing the sights.
The room was smallish but with great historical feel along with all modern comforts. The view from the room was absolutely outstanding, hard to get a better view anywhere in the world.
Great breakfast also included in our room price.
Only minor negative was that the room was a bit warm (being on the top floor) during an unusually hot day in Prague.
Would recommend to all.
