The hotel Is an old monestary with thick walls in the very center of Old town. The location makes it possible to walk to all interesting areas, we took the tram to the castle, mainly from laziness.
We were met by a very sweet girl who instructed us with everything a Prag visitor needs to know, she upgraded our hotel room and booked her own favourite restaurant for us. All of the staff were not as fantastic as this girl but still nice.
The room was spacious, just as the pictures on the website. A Nespressomachine for free use was a nice surprise! The only drawback was some mould in the huge luxurious bathroom. Not much though, just a stain.
The breaksfast had all you can ever want.
The price is rather high in comparison but according to me very well worth it!

Nice hotel right in the middle of the old town district with a good restaurant and overall friendly staff. The standard room under the roof was nicely decorated albeit quite small with a tiny, tiny bathroom. But every room has its own espresso machine which is definitely a plus. Apart from the trouble with the hotel key card which had to be replaced three days in a row we really enjoyed our stay.

I loved this hotel! Savic Hotel is atmospheric and charming while remaining clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. We had the privilege of seeing three different rooms (we stayed twice and my sister had her own room) and all of them were just fantastic. The bathrooms are big and comfortable with great L'Occitane bath products! The location is perfect - you can EASILY walk to all of the interesting neighborhoods such as the New Quarter, Little Quarter, Jewish Quarter, etc. Breakfast was great too. A cook will make you pancakes, eggs, an omelet, you name it. There was fresh watermelon and pineapple each day, and you can get a latte, cappuccino, coffee, tea, etc. The service was outstanding. The receptionist called ahead to Krivoklat to make a reservation for us. (We don't speak Czech.) Overall, this is one of my favorite hotels EVER.

What can I say, it is just wonderful. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. We stayed on the 4th floor which required us to walk a short flight of stairs. Other than that, the hotel is of great value. The reception lady was specially friendly and patient. She spent a good 10-15 minutes explain her city to my wife and I, telling us how to get around the city and what sights to cover and so on. Just wonderful. The breakfast was great. All in all, I recommend it. Because the building is old and the structure and layout precluded good WIFI reception; I ended up doing fewer emails - just as well. And if I really needed to attend to some business via email, I brought my ipad to the lobby and way I went.

When we booked this hotel we received an email two days later confirming our booking and suggesting they would arrange to pick us up from the station. We took advantage of this offer which cost 20 euro. A friend who was going to another hotel was quoted 60 euro for a short distance by the taxis at the station. So do try to arrange transport to your hotel! The hotel is situate a short stroll from the clock and the main square. The attic room we had was on the quiet street, was very large, had two magnificent chandeliers and antique furniture. The bathroom was stocked with L'Occitane products. The hotel is in an old monastery so the attic floor meant having to go up some steps. Staff at reception were friendly and very willing to assist with any information. Breakfasts had a variety of hot and cold food, not a great deal out at the one time, but the plates were regularly replenished. We also ate at the cafe attached to the hotel where the meals represented value for money. We had a most enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: If you don't like stairs ask for a room on a lower floor and you may also get a room with frescoes on the ceilings..
