“Great little hotel ideally positioned”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 January 2013 via mobile

Lovely hotel well appointed with great reception staff and cleaners etc. ( I agree with a previous reviewer however that the breakfast coffee and some of the morning service staff were not up to scratch) there was something about the restaurant too which did not encourage us to go in, even though we both would have liked to) overall this is a superb hotel in a superb position to walk to all the main sites. Prague was surprisinggly bigger and grander than we expected so our long weekend was a magical experience.

Good, affordable hotel in a very well placed location close to all attractions. 2minute walk to Old Town Square and 5 minutes to Charles Bridge. Great fod at pub/restaurant across from the hotel on the corner. Big, lovely clean rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was nice and adequate. Most staff friendly.

Great central location, room was very spacious, massive comfy bed and a great coffee machine.
Nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries, only thing I would recommend would be make the shower screen longer as it was very small and water got everywhere!
Breakfast was good, omelettes made to order were tasty! Check in service very friendly, and when we checked out we were able to leave our suitcase in a locked room before we left.
Prague is very small (a lot smaller than we were expecting) but there are lots of good places to eat and drink nearby.

We had been travelling about 6 weeks staying B &B and apartments and wanted something a little more special in Prague. We found Savic through a review in an Australian newspaper.

We booked online and found the hotel great value for us. The following were memorable;

+ The front of house best in the world "Mira" - she could'nt have been more helpful. Her restaurant tips were great and we did a private tour which was excellent value.

+ The rooms are wild. An "old monastery" which has been converted. Rooms all vary in size but were ample.

+The downer was the breakfast room- lousy service and worst coffee I have ever had. Its a shame the dining offer at Savic could really use some work.

Room Tip: Stay on the side lane, not on front street. We werev on level 1 and it was very quiet.

Amazing little gem of a hotel. My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in January. From the greeting at the airport by the driver to the charming Mira and Jana at the check in desk ( with a glass of Czech champagne!) to the beautiful room and amazing breakfast, I cannot find anything negative to say. I am extremely well travelled and this hotel fits all the bills. Elegant, well located and relaxing. 5 mins to Old Town Square, 10 mins to the Charles Bridge and a plethora of good restaurants all with in 10 - 15 min walk. Pasta Fresca, La Finestra di Cucina and the Czech restaurant right out the fron door that brews its own beer....all wonderful. Maybe I shouldn't rave about and keep it to myself??? No the people and the city are too great to keep it a secret, the hotel is a winner!

Room Tip: Ask for a beamed ceiling room or splurge for a Junior Suite the price difference is not much but it...

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It is 2 mins walk to Old Town Square. Words cannot describe the elegance and beauty of this hotel. The attention to detail is first class. As soon as we walked into reception we were made to feel so welcome by the bubbliest receptionist I have ever come across. We were given a glass of sparkling wine whilst the check-in bits were carried out. When my partner mentioned we were there for my birthday, she arranged a complimentary bottle of champagne to be in our room . The room (206) was stunning, 14th century features, a huge bed and attention to detail such as a light coming on in the wardrobe when you open the door, L'Occitane products in the marble bathroom. It was also very quiet being in a side street. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in a European hotel. Fresh omelettes ( or any style eggs) cooked to order, even sparklng wine at breakfast! We can't wait to return to this hotel. I can't think of one negative.

Room Tip: Room 206 was stunning

Recently visited this fine hotel (14-1-13) upon arrival check in was quick easy and friendly. After a complimentary drink. The receptionist gave us a little run down on the local highlights and areas to visit..
The room we had was very impressive ( biggest bed I've ever seen) free safe, warm. Spotlessly clean. Tv. Hairdryer. Slippers. Even shoe polish kit and sowing kit.
The location? Well you couldn't get more central.
We had b&b accommodation. Breakfast included items ranging from cold meats to hot full English. Drinks in plentyfull supply.
The staff where always helpfull and willing to help in any way.

Would recommend this hotel again and again
