A friend of mine and I stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of July and the beginning of August 2014. During our vacation we also stayed for a week in Vienna and Budapest. The Savic hotel has the best location and the best rooms. You are literally a few minutes away walking distance from the Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock. We visited the old town square every night and walked on the Charles Bridge several times a day. Our room was very spacious - I dare to say that it was the biggest room during our entire vacation. It had a lot of storage area and a huge closet. In addition, the bath tub in our bathroom was fantastic. The lady who cleaned our room deserves a raise. The room was always cleaned to perfection and spotless. We stayed in Room 203 - just a few feet away from an ice machine. It was like heaven! I realize that for most people this may not be a big deal but for us who live in the USA, ice is as precious as gold. The staff working for the hotel was always very pleasant and helpful with directions and tips for good restaurants. Across from the hotel there is a wonderful brewery with a great place to eat. The breakfast is great and it has a nice variety of foods for everyone. They offer hot and cold foods as well as all kinds of juices and a very nice sparkling wine which goes very well with orange juice in the morning. You can request any kind of coffee to your likening and they will provide it for you free of charge. We highly recommend this hotel for people who like to be in the center of it all. The hotel has a great European charm and we would like to come back for a visit when touring Europe next time.

I am also very glad for your kind words about room and breakfast, as we are in limited options I beleave delivering all what high-demanded client can expect from Superior 4* property. Your review means to me even more due to comparism of other great cities such as Vienna, which is definitely in many ways a city with top class hospitality. This was our first overseas trip on our own for 20 years. The hotel is a real gem. Small, 27 rooms a boutique style and very quiet due to not being on a roadway. It is also remarkably close to the Old Square with the astronomical clock (2 mins) and Charles bridge (4 mins). The rooms are beautifully laid out and have every amenity you would want. The breakfast was magnificent. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would heartily recommend this hotel, it was so good.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 203 a double room and it was beautifully decorated and quietest side

The Savic Hotel was a nice place for my wife and I to stay for our honeymoon in Prague. The location was excellent- the hotel is smack dab in the middle of Old Town and only a few minutes walk away from the Astronomical Clock, the Charles Bridge, etc. Unfortunately, because the location is in the middle of old town and adjacent to a few restaurants, you need to be prepared to hear various loud noises and drunk revelers in the middle of the night. Aside from that, which was out of the hotel's control, the hotel was well-maintained, clean and felt very safe. The housekeeping wasn't as thorough as other hotels I've stayed in (e.g., instead of exchanging dirty glasses for new ones, it seems the housekeeper just rinsed the dirty ones and left them in the room), but the housekeeping service wasn't necessarily bad either... just not exceptional. New towels and soap/shampoo were provided every day, which was nice. The people at the front desk were accommodating and friendly every day. Also, I should mention one of the most important parts: free breakfast! This was really appreciated by my wife and I. Frequent travelers know how special it is to be able to have a bite to eat available every morning before heading out for sightseeing. Overall, an excellent stay.

After a lot of research using tripadvisor we selected the Savic Hotel for our stay in Prague. The right choice. Savic is perfectly located on the walking street about 150 meters from the Old City Square with the Astronomical Clock and very close to the Old Jewish Quarter and the Charles Bridge. Wonderful and huge room (303) with a large bath and large closet, maybe the best hotel we have stayed in across our eastern European travels to include the large chains. For info, Savic does have several rooms above the 3rd floor requiring stairs. Savic arranged for transportation on arrival at the train station and to the airport the day we departed. Wonderful front desk staff who were very engaging and knowledgeable. The superb full English breakfast was a favorite. Savic also has an excellent restaurant with outdoor seating on the walking street or indoors in a tavern-like setting. My first choice for Prague when we return.

Room Tip: Room 303 is huge and very quiet. It is listed as a 3rd floor room but has a flight of stairs up to...

We stayed at the Savic Hotel in July 2014 and found it wonderful. The hotel is located about a block from Old Town square and the Astronomical clock. The air conditioning was fantastic and the breakfast that was included was good - eggs to order, fresh juices, champagne and excellent espresso. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Note: If you go to Prague, use Prague Airport Transfers. Do not make your reservation with AAA or others as you will pay almost triple. Make your reservation online - great company. Cost each way to and from the Savic Hotel and the airport is $550 CZK for a private car - ours was a Mercedes (about $27). AAA, Travel Bound and others will charge around $90 each way if you book through them.

Excellent location tops everything - staff friendly and very helpful, recommended a lovely concert and arranged taxi to / from Airport. Quaint restaurant & lovely breakfasts with public areas & rooms clean, airy, quiet and very chic. Would recommend and return.

Room Tip: we upgraded to a Junior Suite - larger room - plenty of light, 2nd floor, nice and quiet
