The Savic was great. The staff could not have been nicer. They provided us with excellent restaurant suggestions and helpful tips. My room was ready at 10:00 am when I arrived. The room was comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

It started from the reception given to us, the receptionist had plenty of time for us to explain not just the hotel but Prague too, and a lovely welcome drink of your choice. Not a typical layout, stairs and corridors fit well with it's character. The room was large well equipped, from comfy beds to a luxurious bathroom. If ever in Prague , this hotel will be our number one choice.

Stayed at the Savic for two nights, 5 and 6th March. Arrived about 11 am room 207 was ready so got checked in early. Lovely room with a lovely entrance into a small hall with the wadrobe and a few steps up into the room. Lovely high ceilings and very light room as it had two windows. We did have a problem though as work was being done on the room above causing alot of noise.

The management were very helpfull though and moved us to room 202, another lovely room, larger but not so much characture, but sill a great room, WOW the bed is comfortable. Lovely bathroom with all the toileteries and flannels you need. I pod docking station, t coffee maker, mini bar i room and ice machine on landing.

The breakfast was great plenty of choice from cold meats, cheese, cereal, fruit, yoghurts to hot food. Plenty of coffee and t on offer and the staff were always on hand.

The one thing that struck me on my first visit to Prague was the standard of service and friendliness from the hotel and the bars and restaurants we visited, this was agenuine warmth and not just to get tips from you.

The pub opposite and slightly left of the hotel reception, was great for a pre-bed !! drink or two, once again great staff.

The Savic was the icing on the cake to a fantastic short break to a lovely city.

Dont think about it just book it !!!! what a great hotel

Graeme

Our involvement with the Savic Hotel started by the minibus organised through them was waiting for us as we landed at the airport so a great first impression! On arrival at the hotel very late at night we were greeted by a pleasant gentlemen on reception and given all the necessary information for using the Hotel. THEN we entered our room! WOW what a fantastic room and an extra bed for our 4 year old all made up. Beautiful decor, attention to detail was superb, no scratchy towels or cheap linen here! Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily, tea & coffee making facilities, LCD telly on the walls. Overall a luxurious hotel with very pleasant and accomodating staff. Only thing missing was a bar/cafe area and swimming pool!

We stayed at the savic hotel from 28th Feb until 2nd March 2009 for my husband's 40th birthday!! On arrival unfortunately our room was not ready but we toured around area. We came back to room and was asked if we would like a drink. Drink was not forthcoming and we had to ask for drinks in the end. At breakfast the next morning we did not receive coffee for approximately half an hour and then asked for eggs which also took approx half an hour to come. THe waiter service was not very good. On Sunday we arrived back at our room at approx 15.15 after being out all day, to find room had not been made up yet and therefore had to go out for another hour before room was made up.
The hotel itself was immaculately clean and it was a shame about the service, as I was trying to make it nice for my husband's 40th. We asked for a special room and did not really get this either.

It's about fifteen months since our last stay here at the Savic and if anything , things have slightly improved from that time. Along with all the other facilities, there's now a "Nespesso" Coffee machine in the room and ipod docking station. It looks like a glass roof is being constructed to cover the inner courtyard which will give another option in poor weather. Our room was 308 , one floor up and on the opposite side from last time and was again very comfortable and relaxing. The room was starting to show some signs of wear and tear, so I hope this doesn't get any worse, as the Savic is a perfect base for all our needs whilst in Prague. Another excellent stay.

Had a wonderful time staying at the Savic Hotel. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff, and were amazed at our room, very pretty indeed. The Hotel is in a great postion for sightseeing and the local beer halls! The staff were very forthcoming with information on the local area and things to do etc. We will definately be recommending this hotel to friends and family and hope to get back there soon.
