Arrived off the metro and just a couple of minutes walk we arrived down the narrow but very charming alley to our hotel. The reception area was lovely as was the service we received. We made our way to our room via the card accessed lift and the wooden hallway. Our room was great, full of character but with all modern facilities and a massive comfy bed! The hotel has everything on its doorstep, you are only a few metres from the famous clock and square and really near to the Charles Bridge. We ate dinner once at the hotel over our 4 night stay and the food was good, but obviously we wanted to explore more restaurants and bars. I can't recommend this hotel enough as it is just a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing and a night of Absinth!!

This is a really lovely, stylish hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. My partner and I stayed for 4 nights, and it was great. Its a perfect location - just 1 minute to the Old Town Square and 5 mins to Charles Bridge. The welcome at check in was really friendly and the free glass of fizz went down well! Our room was really nice, loved the L'Occitane products and the fact that slippers were provided. The breakfast was also great - a good selection on display and they also cook eggs/omelettes to order. We paid around £75 per room, per night, which was excellent value for money. I don't think I've stayed in such a tasteful and comfortable hotel for that price before.

Great location 1 minute from Old Town Square. 5 from Charles Bridge etc.
Lovely rooms tastefully decorated. Nice touches like Ipod dock and L'Occitane products.
Staff were really friendly. Would definately recommend this hotel.

This is a really beautiful hotel situated right in the heart of the old town. It has character in abundance with very friendly and attentive staff.
We arrived quite late on the evening we were checking in. We were greeted by an extremely helpful and very nice lady on reception. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name to thank her but she really set the tone for our stay. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival which was very refreshing after spending a day travelling.
Our room was on the 3rd floor of the hotel overlooking a side street. The room was extremely spacious with beautiful large bedside lamps mixing the old and new of the room elegantly. The bathroom was marble from floor to ceiling with l’occitane toiletries. The bed was very comfortable with a large Samsung flatscreen t.v. directly in front of the bed. Again, the blend of old and new was stylish and worked very well with the large wooden bed and the rather luxurious wooden furniture. Included in our rate was breakfast served until 10.30 each morning. It was very nice with a good selection of pastries, fruits, cereals etc all served in the courtyard of the hotel which is covered with a glass ceiling.
If I was asked for one flaw with the hotel I would have to say it was the noise coming from the busy streets of the old town. It didn’t bother us too much as we were on the 3rd floor, however, I do intend to stay here again and I will be asking for a room off the street just encase! If we were on the 1st floor or if our room overlooked the other street (there is a bar almost directly across from the hotels main entrance) which the hotel looks on to then it may have been a slightly different review. This aside, our stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from a short stay in Prague and it has been a fantastic few days. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities we have ever seen with glorious vistas around every corner. The fact that we had booked into Hotel Savic was the icing on the cake. The hotel is beautiful - the rooms delightfully and tastefully furnished and the epitome of the small boutique hotel. Breakfasts were delicious with something to suit all tastes. The hotel's situation is perfect; being in the heart of the Old Town nothing is more than a leisurely walk away. Little tip for those who are not partial to stew and dumplings - eat Italian or French (we easily found both types of restaurant - La Coppola in the Jewish quarter was excellent as was Cafe de Paris in the Embassy area across Charles Bridge). Unfortunately we found that Czech food is very light on fresh vegetables and can be 'stodgy'. Having said that, we are looking forward to our return visit to beautiful Prague and the lovely Hotel Savic..
