Went to prague on the 8th of january with 5 others age ranging from 30 to 70 (brought the folks for a surprise xmas present) was worried as only booked the hotel on the reviews on TA and was not dissappointed. Also booked transfers from the airport with prague-airport-shuttle(also recommended through ta)we were 2 hours late arriving but the lovely chris was still waiting for us and gave us a lot of tips on what not to do+do in prague so free advice was grateful:) anyway arrived at hotel and was greeted with a lovely glass of champagne and a very cheery and helpful receptionist Jana,The rooms were lovely and had everything you need.was surprised we were so close to everything (the clock tower 2 min walk)cafe and restaurants a plenty..Loved the Hotel and would recomend it to everyone :)

Me and my better half married in Prague May 23rd 2009, and stayed at Hotel Savic for 6 nights. We had one of the romantic rooms with historical ceeling, and the room was abolutely wonderful. The breakfast was great, and the staff working in the front desk very helpful. The only thing a bit dissapointing was that we ordered our breakfast to our room on the morning of our wedding day, and the breakfast we got to our room seemed very "thrown together" even though they knew this was our wedding day. Maybe just a slip from their side. Except from this we would recommend this hotel to everybody that are going to Prague! The location is also perfect, unless you wish to stay a bit out of the main center. We will be staying at Savic again!

Great location, very friendly staff, beautiful wooden stairs and floors, a bargain, no leisure facilities or anything like that but if you want a clean, modern, stylish hotel near all the main attractions without any traffic noise this is the place for you. I was in some of the more expensive city centre hotels and they are very old fashioned compared to the savic, depends what you are looking for but this is slick and modern and well priced.

The Hotel Savic was generally a decent hotel. It is in a great location, however, it was hard to find, if not arriving by cab. When we arrived we sat through a short (10 minutes) spiel about area attractions, which was a bit irritating, since we really just wanted to get to our room. The complimentary champagne was a nice touch though. Our room was a bit disappointing because of the poor quality workmanship, including scuff marks on the wall, a hole in the wall underneath the sink, small screw holes in the marble, etc. Not necessarily inconveniences, but not what you might expect when you're paying that much. The continental breakfast was pretty good, but the dinning room was pretty chilly.

I took my family of five to Prague for Christmas and boy do they dress the City up to look Magical!
Disneyland eat your Heart out, because this is the Magic Kingdom for real!
We stayed at the Savic Hotel just a minute's walk from the Old Town Square and they made us feel at home and welcome as soon as we arrived, with a genuine smile and welcome drinks!
The hotel is warm, well furnished and service is always with a smile.
I hope to be able to take the family again and highly recommend the hotel and the City to anyone who has never been to Prague. My advice is don't miss it!

We stayed at Savic Hotel during it's first weekend of opening - not that we realised and not that it showed! The staff were absolutely amazing and the champagne welcome during check in was a real treat and surprise. Our room was fantastic, modern but retaining the original character of the building, spacious, comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was great, a good variety of food on offer and the location of the hotel in the Old Town was perfect - quiet but yet in close walking distance to bars, restaurants and more. Savic Hotel and it's staff helped make it a very special trip for us and we couldn't recommend them highly enough, we can't wait to go back some day!

There's much to love about this great little hotel in the heart of Old Towne. I would choose it over the hotels in front of the Astronomical clock anyday for location alone. It's crazy loud over there and there are a lot of obnoxious drunks until the wee hours in the morning. You can hear them at the Savic as well, but there are fewer since this place is off the main square.

The concierge service was great. The dark brunette was the best and was omniscient for every question I had. The welcome champagne was a nice touch. The rooms are beautiful and the bed was cozy. They were missing a few toiletries that Americans tend to take for granted in standard hotels.

I would recommend AGAINST booking this hotel or any other on easytobook.com, however. They advertised the room in USD, but then charged me in euros. So that means in the time between, when teh USD dropped, I lost money on the exchange. Enough for over a night's worth. I personally will avoid any non US based companies in the future.

Other than that, the brunch was very good. The eggs and bacon were great, and the baguette was perfect. They even serve champagne or mimosas if you like.

I was very comfortable at this hotel and would stay again.
