“Beautiful Hotel in a fantastic location”
Reviewed 16 March 2010

This was our first trip to Prague and we could not have chosen a better hotel, not only for the location but for the service as well. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were very friendly and took their time to provide us with information about the surrounding area.
The hotel is beautifully furnished and although our room was a little small, it was beautiful.
Staying at the Hotel Savic certainly made our first trip to Prague a very memorable one.
We will be returning to Prague in the future and will definitely being staying at this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed at the Savic for his 40th birthday and we were delighted with the hotel and the service we received over a long weekend. The hotel is beautiful with crystal chandeliers everywhere, wooden floors, marble bathrooms and large comfortable beds. Staff were all friendly, the reception staff were particularly helpful and couldn't have done enough for us. Location is excellent, hidden away so quiet at night but literally a 2 minute walk from the Astronomical clock in the Old town square. Despite the snow and wind, the hotel is very warm. The food is good and we enjoyed asking the chefs to cook us a variety of egg dishes at breakfast. Overall, a gem of a hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely hotel with very pleasing and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and fully equiped with everything you would need to make your stay a happy one, which ours really was.

It would be great to have more UK satelite channels, especially film ones.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a walk away from the centre of town and all the sights you want to see.

Thank you for making our first trip to Prague so memorable, we shall certainly return again in the future and when we do, we shall stay at the Savic.

Douglas & Christine.

My partner and I stayed here from Feb 26th to Monday 1st march. We got an excellent deal online. We arrived from our early flight , hotel was busy so room was not avail until 2pm. We left our luggage and explored the neighborhood. The location is excellent right in the centre of prague within walking distance to charles bridge , town square, prague castle e.t.c There are lots of restaurants close by. Avoid restaurants on town square. I recommend Mlejnice just behind town square.

We were offered sparkling wine on checkin and were given a handy map of the area and given tips and best sightseeing spots from the checkin staff who were always smiling and greeting people as they came in. We were given room 406 in the attic which was huge.
Extremely comfortable bed, nice flat screen tv, nice marble bathroom with great toiletries. CNN and BBC world and some english programs on German MTV for english speakers. Hotels other amenities are free wifi in communal areas only (password obtained from reception), nice restaurant for evening food, good breakfast to set you up for the day.
If I had to be picky I think it would be excellent if they could get wifi in the rooms , and have a computer for guests use. A little annoying when trying to checkin for return flight but nice internet cafe just around the corner. None of these should put you off staying at this excellently run and excellent located hotel.
Highly recommended for a fabulous stay in Prague

If you are thinking of booking this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
We stayed from 26/02/2010 to 01/03/2010.
The room we stayed in was 206 and we had the benefit of a beautiful ornate ceiling, beautiful chandelier and a very large bed.
We would just like to say what a nice welcome we received, the drink on arrival was a nice surprise and after a long trip was very much appreciated.
The hotel was very beautiful, our room was exquisite and the ceiling was very ornate, we do not think i could have choose a more decorative and beautiful hotel to stay in Prague.
I fell in love with the hotel and Prague.
Since we have returned we am already looking to visit again.
The room had its own coffee machine, safe, mini bar and hairdryer, you will not be disapointed if you book this hotel, It is right in the Old Square, just 2 minute walk to the amazing clock and very central to all sights.

This is a fantastic hotel right in the centre of Prague. We have just returned from staying at this hotel and we just wanted to say how wonderful our stay was at this magnificent hotel. We were made very welcome from start to finish and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The welcome drink was a great touch. Our room was fabulous with lots attention to detail and we loved it. The breakfast was delicious and the champagne was an extravagant extra. We did not eat in the restaurant however it looked great and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. We're sure that the refurbishment that is taking place will make the hotel even more fantastic.
We loved the hotel so much we have just booked again for December and we will be recommending it to everyone.
