Our daughter found this hotel by chance three years ago and we were impressed when she invited us round to see the place ourselves. We've stayed here twice since and will definitely return - we would not consider staying anywhere else in Prague - we've found the best!. The location is perfect for exploring the old town of Prague, just a hop, skip and jump away from the Astronomical Clock, but quiet. You could easily walk past without realising what you have missed. The inside is beautiful - the rooms are all unique - last visit we were given a choice and picked a room on the 3rd floor - very comfortable. Go there with friends and meet up in the shared seating area on each floor and listen to the music playing. The restaurant serves good food and it's lovely to sit outside enjoying coffee and cake watching the world go by. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. The manager himself guided us to secure parking within the city (which we would never have found ourselves) and walked us back through the town. Yes, I would definitely recommend this hotel - we'll be back.

We spent 2 nights here and had a lovely time, from the moment we walked in and had our welcome drink. The hotel is a beautiful old building in the heart of old town. Very updated, with flat screen TV and large showers and tubs. Wonderful bedding, and i consider myself a bedding snob! The breakfast buffet is outstanding as well. I will definitely come back here again if ever in Prague

From the beds that were made immediately softer to our request to the sandwiches packed for us for our early morning flight - the service at Savic was impeccable and friendly. Two steps from the town square, excellent breakfast buffet to start the day and nine of the crowds of a larger hotel - why stay anywhere else?

We only stayed for 2 nights but this hotel was great, right in the middle of the old town only a couple of minutes walk from the Astronomical Clock Charles bridge.
The room was really nice, very elegant. When I booked it I mentioned that we would be on our honeymoon and we had a bottle of champaigne in the room and a congratulation letter from the staff, which was a really nice touch.
The bathroom was really nice! Black marble which looked very opulant and plenty of space to spread out on the vanity unit. The bath was long enough for me to stretch out in.
Im not sure how the food at the hotel was, I got food poisening on our first night (not from the hotel restuarant) and it took the two days we were there for me to get over it. So it was plain bread for me. However, my husband really enjoyed the breakfast, he had made to order omlettes each day and the spread looked and smelled really nice.

We currently are in Prague, staying at the Savic -- which I found on Travelocity. Terrific small hotel, perfectly located near Old Town Square, with friendly staff, excellent complimentary breakfast, and nice, quiet, airy rooms. A terrific value for the money. Our only minor gripes are the lack of blackout curtains (I am a light sleeper) and the absence of an onsite computer. However, there is an inexpensive, well-equipped Internet cafe a half block away, so the latter isn't much of a problem. Highly recommended.
