It was brutally hot when we arrived. The reception desk offered us a choice of sparkling wine or orange juice while registering. Our room was large with beautiful architectural detail. Each floor also has a lovely common sitting area. The front desk is extremely helpful. If requested, the hotel will pick you up at the train station or airport for a small fee.

You will not be disappointed at this hotel! It's in the heart of the Old Town, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and they have made to order omelettes at breakfast! Super clean with hardwood floors and beautiful bathrooms with upscale toiletries--Hote Savic is a bargain!!!

The room we had was on the 4th floor and was just superb, with lovely beamed ceilings, a nespresso coffee maker and an iPod compatible radio. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and personal attention. The location is right in the middle of prague and 1 minute from the Old Town Square.

The Hotel arranged airport pick up and drop off at a competitive fixed price from a courteous and patient driver.

All in all, I'd look no further if travelling to Prague again. 5 Stars

I booked the hotel as a surprise for my girfriend which turned 30. We got a free bottle of sparkling wine and a happy birthday letter from the hotel to celebrate this special occasion! The room was absolutely lovely, large, clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful!
The hotel is located right in the centre of Prague, only 3 minutes footwalk from charle's bridge and the astronomical clock, yet it is quiet inside the hotel and in the room.
The breakfast buffet was rich, some sorts of juices and coffee or tea, fruits, bread, rolls, toast, cheese and a cook who prepares eggs or pancakes.

It was an absolutely lovely stay and I would highly recommend the hotel to friends or family!

Great Hotel with an excellent location for sightseeing, just off the old square with its wonderful buildings and great restaurants. Very friendly welcome by reception staff with a wealth of information provided immediately.
Room was excellent spotlessly clean, sheets changed every 2 days and modern spacious bathroom.
Breakfast was good with eggs, omelettes etc cooked to order.
I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Now it could be that we just had a terrible start to this trip (the driver of the hotel car that collected us was driving like a bit of a maniac and got in to a car accident in the airport car park - cue an hour wait in the airport car park waiting for the authorities) but I was a little disappointed by this hotel. Especially after the great reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. Whilst the hotel was in a FANTASTIC location (very central to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge) and the hotel rooms large for European sizes, the hotel rooms were not exactly fit out well. The bathrooms are tiny but nicely appointed but the showers leak and therefore flooding the bathroom every time you use it (don't leave things on the floor!). This was obviously not the first time it had happened because the wood flooring outside the bathroom was very warped and water damaged. The bed, whilst large, had a pretty uncomfortable mattress, and the made service makes the bed up so the blankets stop 10 inches before the end of the bed - weird. The restaurant downstairs was also very disappointing - having to send one meal back (ribs that they had been sitting precooked for so long that they where dehydrated to the point of jerky) after the waiter acknowledged it was pretty bad, they still wanted us to pay for the dish.
I want to stress that this is not a terrible hotel - it is a beautiful building with lovely staff and very quaint / old style rooms. The breakfast room is gorgeous, the hotel rooms quiet and the location is amazing. However, I don't believe that it deserves the "No. 1 for Luxury" label it receives on TripAdvisor - the only reason we stayed at this hotel.

The location and rooms were great..The front desk staff were friendly but the breakfast staff and restaurant staff were not at all...quite arrogant.
