I visited Prague with my spouse around the New Year Eve and stayed at Savic hotel for one night. From the moment of entering the hotel to checking-out, the services provided were excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and provided local tourist information by themselves. The suite room was very comfortable and had all the facilities expected from a five star hotel room - TVs in all rooms including the bathroom, work desk, safe storage, mini bar (reasonable prices) etc. The decor had a classy touch. We required a third bed at a short notice for a friend and the staff managed it with a smile even though it was a rush time for them. The breakfast was decent and fresh. The hotel is located in the heart of the city near Charles Bridge and Tyne Square and therefore is a great option if you are short of time in your itinerary.

Our stay in Prague was made even more special by the Savic Hotel. The receptionists to the waiting staff were incredibly helpful, even allowing us to print off check-in and print off our boarding passes at the front desk. The rooms are well appointed and high quality - you don't get a chandelier in your room at many hotels! The breakfasts were fantastic, champagne (we assume was complimentary!), continental, cooked breakfasts and then pancakes/omelettes made to order were a real treat.
The hotel is located next to the old town square and the Christmas market, watching the astronomical clock (with the hordes of tourists) made an ideal start to each morning. I would highly recommend this hotel. But be aware that Prague is very very cold in the mid-winter!! Maybe summer is a better time to visit the city.

Excellent location - a couple of minutes from the main Square - with the Astronomical Clock. If Prague wasn't such a beautiful City, just stay all day eating the wonderful breakfast, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, 'cooked' breakfast inc. bacon, mushrooms, bratwurst, etc. Omelettes and pancakes (mmmmmmmm) made to order, and local 'Bohemian' sparkling wine to wash it down with. Great, friendly staff.
This hotel is quite small, so nice and relaxed. With narrow pedestrian streets to either side of the hotel, it's really quiet. A great choice. Shop around, as prices vary considerably.

walk everywhere from this well run small hotel in the center of historic Prague. This little gem is not a beauty from the outside, but a treat on the inside.
