When searching for a hotel in Prague I found the options pretty overwhelming but kept coming back to the Perla! I was looking for somewhere suitable for a 2 night stay that wouldn't involve us spending much time in the hotel itself so a central location was a priority and although I wanted somewhere contemporary I wasn't after somewhere over the top with a big price tag to match.

The hotel is a short walk to Old Town Square / the Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge which must be seen at night, it's absolutely stunning. There are also bars and restaurants right on the doorstep of the hotel, you are right in the heart of Prague it's an unbeatable location but with that comes noise so if you are at the front of the hotel you can hear street noise but it didn't disrupt us but if you are a light sleeper or staying for more than a couple of nights you might want to request a different room. We stayed at the end of the corridor so I believe we had a bigger room than most judging by the pictures, we had a double bed and a single camp bed in the room and lots of space. One complaint is the curtains were too small for the windows so light was coming in which was annoying!

There is a strong smell of smoke in the hotel, you can smell it as soon as you walk into reception and in the lift and corridors, luckily our room did not smell of smoke. There is a smoking room on the top floor and I believe the breakfast room allows smoking during the day when it acts as a snack cafe type place but smoking is not permitted at breakfast and I didn't notice the smell while we were eating so they do a pretty good job of getting rid of the smell in the mornings. We found the inclusive breakfast really good and set us up for the day. We went late both mornings and there was plenty to eat. There are breads, cakes, fruit, yogurt, cereals and hot options like bacon and scrambled / boiled eggs.

I believe if you book direct with the hotel and stay 3 nights then they organise a free pick up from the airport for you, we only stayed 2 nights so didn't benefit from this but we did organise our transfer through 'Prague Airport Shuttle' who were fantastic, we had a private taxi meet us from the airport and they collected us again from the hotel to go back - it cost CZK 1200 return and the drivers were lovely. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Prague and would stay at the Perla again - it ticked all my boxes!

The Perla Hotel is located in a great location, just a couple minute walk to either Old Town Square or Wenceslas Square. This boutique hotel is very modern and immaculately clean. The reception staff is very courteous, and helpful in booking tours and taxis. The breakfast buffet plentiful with many options and excellent coffee! We also took advantage of their car service from the airport. The driver was waiting for us and made it very easy upon arrival to Prague. I would highly recommend staying at the Perla Hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 5th floor were quiet, facing away from the street. We had a view of the clock tower! All the rooms are small, but comfortable and clean.

Would rec' for sure.
Excellent location. Had no issues at all.
(though parking isn't great fun)
Outside hotel during the day, you'll be on paying street meter ! (((

You can also smoke on one of the landings upstairs.

Room Tip: I was high up.

This hotel was in a great location...Parking was a little tricky but, they were glad to assist. Note in European hotels are smaller so they only allow two adults per room. The atmosphere was nice in the reception area. I would stay again.
