“Private car park and good links to city centre”
Reviewed 27 March 2014

We stayed here for one night. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke English. There is a private car park (€6 per day). There are good links into the city centre by tram (tram 24 or 18). The hotel sells one way tickets or you can buy return/24 hour tickets from the machine at the tram stop (24 hour pass is 110 czk). The room was a good size but there were some issues. The bed was VERY squeaky so that every time I moved it made a terrible noise. The curtains were too small for the window so I had to use a towel to block out the light. We were on the 3rd floor so had the slope of the roof. This could have explained our shower experience. There was no fixed shower head, which meant you either had to hold it or have a bath. There was the tiniest shower screen as otherwise you wouldn't have got into the bath. You could stand up if you were right up against the wall but not otherwise. My husband had a bath, I tried a shower and needless to say I flooded the bathroom in the process. The bathroom sink tap took enormous strength to turn on and then it gushed at full speed. It needs some tlc. There is a free mini safe in the room for you to use. You have to leave your key with reception when you go out. There is a tv in the room that has bbc and cnn news channels and a couple of other channels in Czech. Breakfast had a good choice - juices (watery), coffee, tea, meat and cheeses, cereals, hard boiled eggs, sausages, bread, cake, fruit salad, salad. They also serve evening meals and give you a 10% discount card but we didn't eat here for dinner. There is a trainline running right next to the hotel. I asked for a room on the opposite side and they obliged. With the window closed I didn't hear the trains, but the noise of the rain on the roof was very loud, there was some kind of metal ledge right outside the window. The room was very hot (25C) and we couldn't alter the radiator. The wifi didn't work in the evening but did work in the morning. The reception sell snacks and water and there is a petrol station next door. The hotel is well presented, there is a lift and stairs. Despite the few issues with the room it was good value for money and gave us the parking space we needed. A great base to explore Prague from.

We have just spent 5 days in Prague and stayed at this hotel. It is comfortable and the rooms are well equipped with a fridge(empty), comfortable beds and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a good choice of local delicacies. We had breakfast there which was fairly good, the only comment I could make is that the juice served was very 'watery' as is often the case, we have found, in mid priced hotels. It is a shame that they try and save on that. The hotel is very conveniently situated for various trams to the city centre, a ten minute ride away. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel. We had a wonderful time, Prague certainly lived up to all we had heard of it.

A good hotel with attentive staff. The room was very adequate, the bed comfy and the bathroom very presentable. The internet was intermittent and rather annoying. There was a strange smell in the corridor but it never made it through the bedroom door. Breakfast was very nice and was a buffet style, typical of a 3* hotel. The hotel was difficult to find. It’s the first stop after the erotic shop on tram 24, then a 2 minute walk away behind a stream/river. It cannot be seen from the main road. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. In particular Zly Casy with 40 microbrewery beers on tap!!

$50 a night for two people in a nice, clean double room with a large modern bathroom and a mini fridge, wifi, breakfast and secure parking. It can't be beat!
The bed is comfortable, staff speaks English, you can buy transport tickets at the front desk, the breakfast is very good and it is steps from 2 tram stops. From there you can easily reach the center in 30 minutes. We highly recommend and will stay here again.
When you arrive in a car, ring the reception buzzer at the entrance to the parking lot to get in. There is a very good/cheap restaurant on the way to/from the hotel on the #24 tram line called Potrefina Husa.

We decided on this hotel based on the reviews on tripadvisor. The hotel was great. The room was clean and big and newly furnished. The price also included a breakfast and it was really good self service breakfast with a lot of different choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel is 100 meters away from the tram station that takes you to the centre of the city. Value for price is really good.
