Stayed in this property from Sat 11/5 to 13/5/13.
It is a guesthouse, not a pension and definitely not a hotel.
Part of a stag party, 17 strong. We were accomodated Large room with 8 beds.Spartan bathroom but hot shower and plenty of hot water.Plumbing worked fine.
Breakfast bar in basement. 125 cz crowns per person.Good coffee but no tea.Orange squash or milk to drink.Cereals, breads, cheese and ham and various jams and spreads, but strangely no butter or similar.Tried it on Sunday am and hot choice additional to above was frankfurters and hard boiled eggs.
Great location, in the centre of town.
Would go back with a gang. Not the place to take the wife if trying to impress.lol

Room Tip: Top floor twins seem best

Euro Guesthouse Prague is situated on Krakovna st, near Vaclavske square, just 15 minutes walking distance away from the Old Town Square / Astronomical clock. This is mainly the single advantage of this accomodation.
The cleanliness is very pour, the beds are quite uncomfortable, the walls are dirty, there's mold in the bathroom.
At least they have 24/7 reception.

Good value guesthouse.

To enjoy this beautiful city day and night you may consider it. The guesthouse is located at the heart of the city, and it represents a good choice for young tourists and people who want a good value for money place to sleep.

I have just returned from the most horrendous trip ever in Prague. We booked the above via Booking.com inall good faith , the description and photos are favourable but could not be more wrong .
This has to be the most run down ,ram shackle place ever. Our first room was already being slept in !! We were given a four person apartment apparently but would have defied four people to fit in it , the rooms are dirty and run down , equipment broken and dangerous and to cap it all , I was shown the bins when I wanted our rubbish moved and pointed to a launderette when I asked for clean towels. We didn't dare ask for loo roll , god knows where I would have ended up .
The description on Booking .com website is , by their admission , that of the owner - they have never checked it out . It says it tells you what they have and can do . Please don't be fooled - it is a dumo. We moved out and into a hotel .I am currently in negotiation with Booking.com about compensation but have to admit thatthey are slow and not very forthcoming. I have now taken legal advise .
We have photos of the place which I have offered to the owner so that he can put them on the Booking.com website in place of his own since he thinks that his description is a fair one , surprisingly enough he hasn't replied !!

Definitely, I don't recommend this hotel.
I found out that the name of the hotel on booking.com is very misleading. Its really name is Euro Guesthouse Prague and you can find its web pages on:
http://www.euroguesthouse.eu
Do not believe its description and photos on booking.com:
It seems like it is on reconstruction - night lamps beside beds were not connected to electricity. Satellite TV in some rooms looked like with the worst analog TV signal (the best was some
Turkish TV channel) and in the other rooms you find antenna cable cut - so forget about TV.
Very similar with WiFi signal: it worked only 1 hour during first evening. Then during 2 following days nothing worked.
When asked for connecting TV and repairing WiFi, we heard only a lot of promises several times a day, but there were no action done.
If you want some towels, you must ask for it at the reception.
It seemed that we weren't in Prague hotel, and we felt like in some Far East country hotel (also some stuff looked similar to it).
If you want to learn more about horrible customer experiences with this hotel you can find it on:
http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g274707-d651611-Reviews-Euro_Guesthouse-Prague_Bohemia.html
Finally, it seems that the only advantage of this hotel is its location near Prague centre. But it's not worth it.

Room Tip: choose another hotel

Due to an administrative error, the original hostel we had booked in Prague was overbooked. The owner of that hostel worked very hard to obtain us a room in Prague for the night, which was much appreciated as the city seemed to be totally booked out. Unfortunately, the only room available was at Euro Guesthouse.

The receptionist was helpful throughout our delay, but they were unable to find the key to the room for 2 hours. On the upside, if the key to the 2 bed room hadn't been available, they were going to give us a 6 bed room at a discounted rate. This was very much appreciated as they were turning other couples away to reserve their larger rooms (6 and 8 beds) for bigger groups..

When the key was eventually located, it turned out to be for the outer door to the apartment only. the apartment had 2 rooms only - one with 2 beds and an ensuite, which we were supposed to have had. The other with 1 bed and 3 mattresses on the floor, which the other person using the apartment was supposed to have had. Both rooms in the apartment were open and there was already gear in the room that was allocated to us. By this time it was 1030 at night and we were too tired to argue so we slept in the room with the bed and the mattress on the floor. The beds weren't made properly, with just a sheet draped across them. The key we had was for the room next door, so we couldn't lock the door and pulled the bed across it instead. The floor of the room was very dirty and desperately need a vacuum. The bathroom had a bath and a handheld shower nozzle - no shower curtain or door so water when everywhere.

Despite the fact that we were grateful to have a room for the night I would not recommend that anyone stay in this location. The overbooking issue with our other accommodation was for one night only - we are now back in the Cosy Homes Prague hostel paying less money for a gorgeous, clean well-equipped room.
