We cannot say enough good thing about Residence Agnes and the fantastic staff. We felt like the most important guests in the history of the hotel. Frank and his lovely and helpful team were attentive and friendly without being stifling. With free car trips, complementary wine, chocolates and flowers in the room, outstanding breakfasts and perfect dinner recommendations, Residence Agnes made our first visit to Prague extremely special. Will we return? Oh yes.

The Residence Agnes is one of the best hotels in Europe my family and I have ever stayed. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distances to the places of interest in central Praque particularly the old town square.

What really impressed us was the quality of the service provided by the hotel staff, especially Frank.

When we first arrived at the hotel, the friendly hotel staff not only offered us welcome drink but also provided information on places to go in Praque, which was very useful as we were on our own for our free and easy holiday. It made it so much easier for us to decide where to go in Praque.

The next morning after the nice breakfast the hotel staff even arranged for a transport to the Praque Castle. A gesture we deeply appreciated as otherwise it would have taken a lot more effort to reach there particularly when it was raining.

The hotel even went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. We were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary chocolate box when we came back to our room in the afternoon. My daughter loved it!

We were very thankful when Frank again arranged for us transport to go to the railway station on our last day. The driver Pablo not only sent us there but also helped to carry our luggage to the station main hall. He refused to take the tip saying this was his job.

A very delightful experience . A very helpful, friendly and pleasant staff. Thank you and good job!

From the moment we arrived at Residence Agnes to the time we left, we were treated wonderfully. The staff's dedication to service should be a benchmark to which all hotels strive. Frank and his staff, especially Magdalena went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. All the members of our party from my 81 year old mother to my 21 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Residence Agnes.
The staff is incredibly generous.

Residence Agnes is simply outstanding. My husband and I were upgraded free of charge to a romantic room on the top floor since we were on our honeymoon. The room was beautifully decorated, cosy and clean, complete with a bunch of roses and complementary wine.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Martin, a friendly, welcoming member of staff, who could not do enough for us. Hot mulled wine, beer, tea, coffee....everything was offered to us free of charge, and we later realised that this was standard every time we stepped through the door of the hotel! All of the other guests were treated the same, we noticed, so this was not just newlyweds being spoiled! What a lovely gesture - a hot wine is certainly what you need after walking the streets of Prague in December.
The next day we went down for breakfast, which was an abundance of completely delicious food, tea, coffee and juice. We met more members of staff who were equally as friendly and helpful as Martin. Nothing was too much trouble. We also met the lovely owner, Frank, who very kindly offered to drive us up to Prague Castle free of charge that day (highly recommended if you get the opportunity!).
Good restaurants were also recommended to us by the staff, and on one of the evenings a taxi was booked and paid for by the hotel to our chosen restaurant - we could not believe it!
Our trip to Prague was absolutely fantastic and made extra special by this outstanding hospitality. After talking to other guests it is evident that every person is made to feel welcomed and special when staying at Residence Agnes. The hotel is beautiful and not too expensive. What a wonderful trip and incredible customer service from Frank and his team - thank you so much for making our honeymoon so memorable. We will be back as soon as possible! Danielle & Steven.

Room Tip: Romantic rooms on 4th floor - beautiful and clean.

The staff at this small, 23-room hotel was unbelievable. I have stayed at hotels all over the world and I would rate the staff at Residence Agnes equal to a Ritz Carlton for staff service. There was not anything that you wanted done that they did not insist on doing for you. Upon arrival, a staff member sat down with us to outline where we were in the city, show us sites and answer any and all questions we might have

On almost any of our jaunts from the hotel the manager personally drove us in his car. This was not for just us, but seemed to be for all guests.

We did not have enough time in Prague and would like to visit again, but I would not return unless I could stay at Residence Agnes.

We arrived from Sydney at 0700am with five children ranging from 8-18 years old to a warm welcome, breakfast, and friendliness we would only expect from relatives. Over the next four days Frank and his team could not have been more helpful. Mulled wine is on tap every evening served complementary. Maps with clear directions are offered every day depending on your plans. Free taxi drop offs are offered to visit local destinations. Our daughters turned 18 while we stayed here. Without prompting they were served some local bubbly for breakfast to celebrate.

Given our jet lag we found ourselves wide awake at 0500 am. No problems for the staff! They opened the restaurant early to make sure we could eat- always done with a smile. Apparently the hotel attracts many Aussies and we can see why.

Some of the major five star hotels could take a leaf from the book of this small hotel. Personal service will always win. Frank and his staff know this really well. Can't recommend highly enough for those looking for a small hotel centrally located.
