“Wonderful experience all around”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

We stayed for four nights at Residence Agnes and we could not have picked a better hotel in Prague. Frank and the rest of the staff were the most hospitable and helpful hotel staff I have ever met. Staying at this hotel truly made our trip to Prague an unforgettable experience. In addition to the staff, the breakfast was delicious and the hotel is very clean and in the perfect location. We only needed to take one taxi the entire time we were there, thanks to Frank being so willing to drive us to the train and bus stations when we needed to make connections and also to the Prague Castle to save us the trouble of using public transportation to get there. I would without a doubt recommend this hotel to anyone making a trip to Prague. We can not thank the Residence Agnes staff enough for making us feel so welcome and for making us fall in love with Prague even more! We hope to come back again in the near future!

The hotel is very deserving of its Tripadvisor 2014 award for one of the top small hotels in the world.

Everything positive everyone says is well deserved praise. The hospitality is second to none, the personal service afforded to all guests exceptional!

Frank has an exceptional team of staff, who make everyone feel very welcome and go out of their way to make your stay in Prague an exceptional one.

We stayed for five nights and requested a quiet room which we were given on the top floor. You are offered lifts everywhere but we chose to walk a lot, to be able to truly see Prague but also to work off the calories from the excellent breakfasts.

Don't think anything could be improved. Excellent value for money too!

Keep up the good work!

Everything you have read about this hotel is accurate .It is truly outstanding. We travelled as a couple to Prague for a 3 night stay and enjoyed every minute .The city is very picturesque and the people very hospitable. However, the real gem of the trip was the Hotel Agnes and the people who provide such a wonderful experience to their guests. In addition to Frank , Linda , Radka and all of their colleagues really know how to get on with visitors and are so polite and courteous . This level of service is exceptional and quite rightly ought to be respected and acknowledged .Lots of good things to do , take some good walking shoes and be prepared to wander around to explore a fascinating city. The Italian restaurant called Marina ,is great so is the Cafe Savoy for a lunchtime , but you will need to make reservations .One again thanks to all at Hotel Agnes , we had a memorable stay and will be back -Linda and Peter from Durham

We stayed at this superb hotel for my sons 21st birthday and could not have had a better hotel.
The people who run this hotel are without exception the nicest and most genuine hosts you could wish for.
We were a party of 11 and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had champagne on our son's birthday. We were transported to various destinations during our 3 night stay and bookings were made for tours .
The rooms are modern and the bathrooms are good.
The building is very old and is a converted convent but it has been done in a very sympathetic way. The hotel foyer/breakfast are is a lovely atrium.
You are near the main attractions of this beautiful city.
So if you want the best experience you would not be disappointed.

Room Tip: all rooms were good, some are bigger than others, a higher floor is quieter.

We arrived at this hotel late evening. Upon arrival the front desk had a parking spot reserved in front of the hotel and helped us with our bags. They offered us a complimentary beer as we checked in. They also helped us arrange a city walking tour which showed all the key spots in Prague for our short time there. The hotel was in a good location in walking distance to the historic center. The room was spacious with free wifi, and the breakfast was also good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague!!

We visited the Agnes in November and a significant wedding anniversary gave us an excuse to return to the hotel in March for 4 nights.

The hotel remains world class in every aspect, there really isn't a better choice if your heading for Prague and we would rate the Ages as being 6 stars in our book.

There are pages and pages of reviews that will tell you why Frank and his team deserve the accolades they receive. All we can add is that the entire team are there with one purpose in mind and that is to ensure you have a memorable stay. During your stay you are valued and always receive star treatment.

The rooms, breakfasts and extras all add to the experience. Before we left the hotel we had booked a further trip in November, for anyone considering a visit that should speak volumes.

Room Tip: 204 - large room and overlooks the church at the rear of the hotel. That said all of the rooms are...

We went to the hotel for my wifes birthday, we stayed in room 401 for 3 nights between the 18th/21st March 2014.
Having read all the previous reviews here, by just repeating what every else has reported would just be boring !!
All I would like to say, as a couple who have over the years stayed in thousands of quality hotels around the world, this "Little Agnes" is truely the jewel in the crown, from the moment of arrival until the upset of leaving, we were totally and utterly blown away at the level of service, quality and professionalism of the hotel and its staff.
There is nothing, either in Prague or elsewhere for that matter, that comes within a million miles of what your stay here will give you. A GREAT BIG SMILE :) Enjoy!!
